ok so I just want to give a heads up to the viewers about visiting Tibet. If you're going to Lhasa or other major towns where there is tight government control through police, surveillance etc. and specially if you go on an organized tour to "tour sites" then you will never hear the true sentiments of the Tibetans nor get a true sense of what the Tibetan issue is.

There can very well be Tibetans pretending to be Hans. Why not? It is always a good thing to be considered a part of the majority. Some minorities, no all, cannot help but want to be a part of the majority.

Since a Natalie Wood can be Russian, not American, a Chen can be Tibetan, not Chinese.

I do not want to judge these peoples views politically, but I find it fascinating that we Americans can travel for a couple of weeks ( I am very well traveled) and think we have the right to then pass final judgment on some very deep and long fought conflict. How lopsided this documentary was!!!! How can you judge a nation's feelings without knowing it's language, culture, & customs. Just with the help of a translator,& interviewing few traders how could this documentary found the perceptions of Tibetans, that they are happy with the so called development. What about the coercion, & lack of freedom of expression, & cultural suppression???

This video is great and they are very intelligent people.The point is not knowing the language,but to see Tibet by yourself,not to make allegation based on watching TV or watching hollywood movies.Many in west just presumed China is a demon without a critical mind to analyse the real problem objectively.The tibetans are free to practice buddhism and learn their own language,they are living well with the han Chinese,come to China come to tibet,study serious information,before making accusation
