  • Im 68W, and next year will be a 18D, which is a SOCM Ranger!

  • I love how keyboard warriors claim that they could do this, or that these guys are somehow "pussies" or say that so and so is "better" show some respect.

  • Thank you for uploading this series. I can't watch it in my country.

  • All you kids are fucking pathetic.

  • Unfortunately these guys aren't rangers only ranger qualified

  • @blackcowable Didnt you see when they put them the tab?... They are Army Rangers. When you pass Ranger Assessmen and Selection Program is when you are ranger qualified and then you have to wait for the Regiment to give you a slot for Ranger School.

  • @elneneboricua18 Wrong. Anyone in the army, and some from other branches of service can attend Ranger School and become Ranger Qualified by earning the Ranger Tab. Ranger school is just a school on leadership and personal development. To become a U.S. Army Ranger you must pass RASP and earn the Scroll. You do not need the tab to be a Ranger, you need it to become an NCO in the Ranger Regiment. Having the Tab does NOT mean you are a Ranger.

  • @tallhispanic3 I'm pretty sure anyone can go to Ranger school.

  • @elneneboricua18 You've got that backwords man. Ranger school makes a person Ranger Qualified. RASP and earning the scroll makes a person a Ranger. Althogh you need Ranger school to become a NCO, RASP is how you become a Ranger

  • Love the videos man, but would it be possible to cut the parts at more natural points? The last clip and this one split mid-sentence.

  • rangers lead the way

  • Thumbs up if this makes u want to work out in the gym

  • @MikeHunt627 lol. i already do. not the same thing

  • @MikeHunt627 This is the Ranger gym.

  • how do they simulate the gun fights?

  • @MarquesChrisMusic using blank rounds which just make the noise but dont actually shoot anything out of the barrell.

  • @MarquesChrisMusic Either blanks or paint marker rounds

  • Awesome! XD That would be cool if your bf was a ranger......... =] lol

  • samuel l jackson 1:09

  • can i just say that id hands down do any of the 103 graduates?

  • @PlaystationNation2k9 True that mate, SASR are pretty fucking tough, dont forget your Irish cousins in the ARW, equally as bad assed ;) who operated with SASR in East Timor. Though unfortunately, the government dont allow any publications on the Arw :( I will check out the documentary though!

  • @PlaystationNation2k9 What about the NZSAS? thats where the real money is at :P

  • well that made me want to go to the gym...

  • HOORAH! Ranger rep for life..

  • @DwackAttack1995 wow really? Hoorah? welcome to the MARINES not the Army

  • All this training goes to shit when an F16 flying 1000 feet in the air blows them to bits lol.

But nah, Hooah! or Hoorah! whatever it is. Your army's strong :) Hopefully we Canadians can catch up :D we're getting there.

  • The toughest training in the world is the Battlefield 3 tutorial.

  • @ReelUnreal haha good joke there ins't even a tutorial :P

  • PL.....What the F**K are you doing...?

  • Are they actually killing them ?

  • @theboss1q3e, lol...

  • @theboss1q3e yes. they are killingthe drill sergeants. no their just pretending, the idea is to make it real though

  • all of a sudden i wanna play BF3 real bad!

  • It feels like there are more officer candidates than there are enlisted candidates at ranger school O.o

  • 4 people are in the Afghanistan army

  • Anyone else find it curious that the missions are all focused on narcotrafficking?

  • @ctb619 Yeah its down their alley. when they arent seizing airfields, cockblocking terrorists, unleashing the wrath of God on a bunch of heathens, rescuing heads of state or watching the enemy in the bushes waiting for them to get an idea, they are probably in the jungle somewhere scoring blow. Or shaving a bear.

  • Who else tried to swipe at that bug at 6:30?

  • Who else tried to swipe at that but at 6:30?

  • The best way to pass any Special Operation school is to surpass their expectations. If you are required to run 5 miles, run 8 miles. If you are required to swim 25 meters, swim 30 meters. If you are required to hike 20 miles, hike 25 miles. You must condition your body to be better than the expectations, thus, when you go through selection, you will do better.

  • @EmoHunting666 Rasp is an Assessment that allows you to get in to one of the Ranger Battalions (Ranger Units), you can get in to Ranger Bat without being ranger qualified, but eventually you will be sent to ranger school.

  • so is this RASP or ranger school

  • I'll take anything they'll throw at me. Can't wait to join.

  • Those guys, can't they think for them selves????

  • @adparks14 that was a thought of mine when i went through, no joke, it would've been nice lol

  • They're blanks, Why would they waste real bullets on a tactical training mission on there own men and vehicles ;)

  • are they firing blanks or killing people i feel stupid for asking but please respond

  • @presto457 they are firing blanks and not killing people, but they are using real guns

  • are those real guns or are they blanks?

  • @hiphopnunchuck the guns are real but they use a blank firing adapter that they put on the end of the rifle that allows the weapon to load blanks and fire them, rather than real rounds. So, bullets fake, guns real

  • @coolbreezefl710 ok. thx

  • @hiphopnunchuck they're firing blanks with real guns.

  • @KeepStudying777 My phones all jacked up, sry bout that, I actually realized I misread it but it wouldn't let me reply and it's still jacked up so sorry if I reply more than once

  • @KeepStudying777 yeah I actually did reread it and realized that I misread it but it wouldn't let me reply again to apologize, so sry bout that, I was reading to fast for myself I guess.. Lol

  • @keepstudying777 actually it's not a requirement to be airborne qualified before RS... Me and my squad leader both are not airborne and we put in packets for RS, his got accepted before mine so he's in RS right now.. I'm still waiting on a date, if I can even still go..(I'm supposed to PCS to Korea in October)..

  • @boostedNBD I never said it was. If you read what I wrote again, you'll see that I stated clearly that graduation from Airborne school is a requirement before starting Ranger Selection (RIP/ROP, now called RASP). That is a fact. Ranger School is NOT a requirement to become a Ranger. Being Airborne qualified IS.

Doubtful you'll get a slot before you ship out, but good luck in your Army career wherever it takes you. (retired MSG - 11B, Ranger 2/75 C Co, 7th SFG)

  • @KeepStudying777 - got an tips for me, im enlisting with an 11x option 40 mos and im going to RASP1 after airborne school... please respond

  • @MrPelhambay Sorry for the delay; I don't get on here much. Not sure what specific info you want, but in general, be as prepared as possible physically and mentally (Start NOW...you get picked up straight from Airborne graduation to start RASP). If you can't score at least a 250 APFT, then you'll have a hard time making it to the end. Mental toughness is extremely important. RASP weeds out the weak...physically and mentally. Quitters / complainers don't make it into the 75th RR.

  • @MrPelhambay BTW, congrats on your enlistment and your contract choice. It shows me that you're already squared away in the character and intelligence departments. Now focus on your physical and mental toughness. Don't wait until BCT/AIT or you'll never be in good enough condition. Minimum 250+ APFT, BEFORE you get to Airborne school. Obviously make sure that you have no phobias about water, heights or small enclosed spaces, etc. You can also buy SH 21-76 and study it. Best of luck.

  • @KeepStudying777 - thank you, luckily i will be well prepared physically and mentally for OSUT because I'm part of my local volunteer fire department. I specifically chose it to prepare me for the Army. I just pray to god I will make it.

  • @Limskjordan u need to keep ur mouth shut, obviously u never been to combat or u would know at times, there is limited sleep. That's why we train as we fight dumbass.. "stupid Americans"??!? What country u from? Im willing to bet the US has kicked ur countries ass before.

  • im a power ranger

  • @Niveaulimbo69 well im a mighty morphing power ranger with bad anger management skills and a tomahawk that magically jumps off my hip and attacks anything threatening to my awesomeness.

  • @adparks14 LOL theres nother video like this and the instructor said the people were hving illusion tht the trees were coca cola machines and they tried to put money (laves) in them LOL

  • Unless you guys have gone on the Ranger, SAS, SEAL, Force Recon courses, then please, shut up. You're basing all your opinions on hearsay, personal bias, and these videos that never show the full picture.

  • why dont they wear gloves?

  • I wonder which training is harder, OCS for the marines or this? Anyone only know?

  • @MrMarine2626 id imagine theyre both as hard as it gets and they train different components rather than different intensity because it couldnt get much harder

  • With men so tired, even the best officer cannot do it properly. Stupid Americans.

  • @Limskjordan That's the point, in war, you can't sleep. It's part of the training.

  • @cslewis623 But well-rested men will always fight better than tired men, no matter how much training you have. Its a lesson many commanders in history do not learn.

  • @Limskjordan a ranger is supposed to fight well when well rested, and if you can fight well when tired you can do it also when you're well rested

  • @Limskjordan I know that for a fact. But once you're out of this, it isn't like this anymore okay? They know that. All they're trying to is to make it seem real. In fact, it is real. In war, once you're out on the field, you can't sleep at all. Period. They do rest you know.

  • @cslewis623 Ok, fair enough. But that doesn't change my mind that SAS training is one cut above US training.

  • @cslewis623 SAS training is better my ass. US is the best of the best point blank period. Nobody is better than us in the air land or sea. It has been proven time and time again.

  • @SmokinAce8888 HOw do you know? How does that other guy know? No-one on youtube, none of the armchair generals have been through the training, all they know is what they have seen on youtube

  • @SmokinAce8888 Uh...when was I ever talking about the SAS...

  • Four people got sent home from ranger school

  • @ritzcracker12kb 24 people are tools.

  • @ritzcracker12kb nah, they just ran from the law, accused of a crime they didn't commit. They promptly escaped the stockade to the LA underground. Today, they survive as soldiers of fortune. If you have a problem, if no one else can help, and if you can find them, then maybe you can hire... THE A TEAM :D

  • @ritzcracker12kb better yet, four people passed this course and hate the nostalgia they're getting from it. While 249 are glad they quit.

  • Does actual killing happen or is it all just a simulation?

  • Comment removed

  • Its a simulation, maybe good punches thrown, but no killing

  • @parallelsk8 lold

  • @Niveaulimbo69 sarcasm ftw

  • @parallelsk8 i know :D

  • R.I.P..... that school is yelling "JO GOIN TO DIE IN THIS SCHOOL!!!!""

  • @adparks14 haha it would keep you up but with the stress on your body am sure you will go down

  • Im thinking about enlisting next year, is this Like Basic training, or similar, or is this just another course called ranger school... can someone tell me?

  • @briancangri25 Uh....Ranger school is like Basic on super steroids and with a different focus.

  • @briancangri25 It is not Basic training. It is a completely different course.

  • It'll be an honor fightin next to you ranger boys Oorah USMC-2014

  • Fine sometimes i type i like that because it's quicker and you cant tell how clever i am by the way i type something on YouTube and i did research Google first and i didnt find the answer i was looking for and tons of people ask questions in the comment section so i thought i might because i couldnt find what i was looking for. If you'r not gonna answer my question and tell me to do something i have done before i would suggest you piss of.

  • @adrparks It's Simple. You dont know me so you cant judge me. Pricks like you wont get anywhere in life. Making judgement when you dont even know what you're talking about. Idiot.

  • @adparks14 Pick some up at the drug lab.

  • What about Lt. Cummings?

  • At the 2 minute mark, the RI SSG Schultz, went to basic with that dude way back when in 2003. 3rd Plt. A Co. 2/58. Ran across him again when we were both in Korea, he was in the 506th if I remember right, and I was with 2/9. After that I went to the 101st and to Iraq, I think he told me in Korea that he was goin to 10th Mtn. It was a shock to see him on TV. Glad to see he finally made the big time though. LOL. Schultz, dude, if your out there, Lead the way bro!

  • SAS selection, Marine Recon, SEAL selection, Ranger selection...

wonder which one is the most difficult?

  • @mburg777 Actually...having been thru Ranger School, (the FOUR phase version), pre-scuba and SAS training.....Ranger school was the hardest.

  • @ptdraco US Military can't go through SAS training...Not to mention 1 SFOD-D is based off of the SAS...So how is Ranger school harder...

  • @PvtHudson98 Not sure which military you are in, but when I was in 1/10th SF Group back in the '80s, we had several exchange training programs with several different countries, including the SAS, GSG-9, etc.

  • Nevermind I was wrong. Marines can attend Ranger School, but only a select few. When I researched this I found out that only a handfull, maybe 3-4 Marines, are allowed to attend. So saying that Marines make up the majority of the dropouts is ridiculous considering they started with over 400 people.

  • @ZEROtrinity94 Any male in any branch of the US military that is in the top percentage in their unit can be sent to Ranger School. That includes top soldiers from our foreign allies. Ranger School is a leadership and patrolling course, NOT specific US Army Ranger training. Being in a combat battalion in the 75th Ranger Regiment is where US Army Rangers are trained...except training in Battalion doesn't stop after 9 weeks!

  • Marines don't go to Ranger school, two different branches of the military.

  • This is nothing. Marine boot camp is twice as hard.

  • @marvalouslegend30 dont be to sure about that....they forgot to put in the 8 week intense training even before you can even ask to go to basic ranger training school lol.....but im not saying marines or rangers are better im just letting you know some shit ;)

  • @marvalouslegend30 You'll be dissapointed to know that Marines account for the highest percentage of drop outs in Ranger School then.

  • @marvalouslegend30 Spoken like a true 16 year old know nothing punk. Marine infantry boot is excellent training, but no more difficult than Army Infantry BCT / AIT. The only people who say otherwise are Jarheads that are brainwashed to believe they're "better", and / or know nothings like yourself. US Army Infantry is equal to Marine Infantry all day long. Rangers are US Special Operation Forces that are head and shoulders above regular Marine Infantry.

  • So u have to serve in the military before enlisting as a ranger?

  • will i be able to qualify if i give them a letter from my mommy? :D

  • @adparks14 your a fucking idiot!

  • Ohh i hear that rangers do all the missions so my cuestion is if each soleder get all the training like all the jobs or they just have their own missions or job ???

  • @adparks14 stupid

  • @Hungarian, I've seen foreign legion training...its a freaking joke...its so lax, its life a picnic...just like their work ethic

  • tsss pussys

  • So much respect for these guys (Y)

  • The Discovery Channel needs to make a Surviving The Cut: The French Foreign Legion, you think The U.S Special Forces Operators are hard to get in, or tough... You have no idea what we go through.

    - Second Clas Legionnaire István

  • @HungarianLegionnaire cool, what do u guys need to do then?

  • @adparks14 - if the ranger instructor finds that he might be so shocked that he'd let you keep it

  • He wasn't joking dude. Have you seen him on a regular day?

  • @adparks14 Rofl...now see, that's how you joke around on a comment section. :-D

  • why cant i find this show on netflix?

  • @spartanhero8 i know right. i was pissed when it wasnt on there. didnt even know this show existed tell i saw the commercials for it today (season 2 i assume) ....got me all pumped

  • @oranged12345

Academically, No. Physically and Mentally, Much more difficult.

  • the harder it is, the more i want to join COME ON GUYS this is like sooooooooooo easy

  • @warmonster86 fucking POG

  • fuck i cant wait.

  • woot only 50days training???

  • @WarLordTR7 srry 61

  • my friend recomende this vid to me because he wants to be in rangers it kinda makes me want to be in it.

  • Ive made up my mind ranger school it is

  • My dad wears the ranger patch PROUD,Alawys has and always will!Hes 71 now and Im proud of the time he spent in the Army.Made me be the man I'am today! Thanks for your service dad.

  • @costcobitch

and now you are a costco bitch?

  • @roflcoptercation Man I'm giving thanks to my dad.As far as my name on youtube, isnt everyone a little bitch for the the company they work for? In the long run I was being funny when I made my name for this shit talking site.Calm down dude!

  • @costcobitch

    I just asked a question

  • 4 marines thought ranger school was to much

  • 4 people didn't survive the cut.

  • At 13:38 spot the British Soldier in the class.

  • just got back from afghan, i have shed blood, sweat and tears as a ranger in my short time being one, if you wana become one make sure its wat u wont 2 do

  • @TheGhost030 Did you? I want to join Army Rangers immediately after my diploma. Message me about life in Afghan and how it was to be a Ranger.

  • @The30calboy Hooah. Check my channel you you cqn see what i want to be :)

  • what is the difference between Airboren Ranger and 75 Ranger Regiment?

  • @DutchPetriot Disregard what that stupid kid "dungeonlordsfan323" said. ALL Rangers are Airborne Rangers, and ALL Rangers belong to the 75th Ranger Regiment. Every potential Ranger has to graduate Airborne school before they start Ranger Selection (RIP/ROP...now called RASP). And ALL Rangers do Direct Action missions, and they get to their initial objective by either Sea, Land, Or Air.

  • @KeepStudying777 Hey, I don't mean to start a fight or anything, but not all Rangers are Airborne, and nor do they all belong to the 75th. Getting into the 75th has nothing to do with Ranger School. The 75th Ranger Regiment has their own Ranger Assessment and Selection Program. Getting through Ranger school just earns you the tab, not placement into the 75th. I also know a couple LTs who got through Ranger school who aren't airborne/air assault qualified.

  • @wasabi622 I speak with authority since I served in the 75th RR (2/75 C Co) back in the mid 1980s. The title "Ranger" only belongs to men who have served in the 75th RR. Men who have earned the Tab by graduating Ranger School, but who have not served in the 75th RR, earn the title "Ranger Qualified". They are NOT US Army Rangers. Graduation from Airborne school is mandatory before starting Ranger assessment and selection (RIP/ROP, now called RASP). So yes, ALL Rangers are Airborne Rangers.

  • @KeepStudying777 Ah, understood. So I guess it comes down to Ranger vs. Ranger Qualified then. Thanks for the clarification.

  • @wasabi622 No problem. Many people have a very difficult time understanding the distinction. RS is NOT a requirement to be a US Army Ranger. RS is a leadership and patrolling course, NOT Ranger specific training. That's why any top soldier from any branch of the military can be sent to RS, including our foreign allies. That said, all NCOs in the 75th RR have to attend RS at some point, and all Rangers are encouraged to attend (usually after spending about a year in a Ranger Battalion).

  • Have been training everyday for the last 6 months to try and qualify for this school.. wish me luck.

  • @daystarcreations i wish you the very best of luck my friend !!! make Uncle Sam proud

  • @daystarcreations if you fail after training for this you dont deserve it at all.

  • @quizzachu what happens if u fail ranger school. do you just be a regular soldier in the amy?

  • @117MrSmiley yeah, you just go back to what you were doing before (your mos if you're active or back home if you're guard)

  • @daystarcreations haha. im 13 yrs old. and im planning on training for this starting now. at school trying hard to run the mile, do push ups, ect. im not an athletic person, so if i dont get ready there is no doubt i will fail.

  • @117MrSmiley Good for you, man. The only easy day was yesterday.

  • @keithwong1411 ya. ive been wanting this for a long time. it might just be a kid phase though. like I WANNA BE A FIREMAN or POLICE OFFICER. watching the commercials, movies, and learning about them ju
