Mr Sear can you give me the piece of music about C.Galos I need them .^^.Give me a link or the sheet , my email: cobannho_259@yahoo.com . please give me as soon as u can ^^. Thanks
I used to work in the Pianola Museum in Amsterdam. I first hear this piece of music on role. I am surprised by the beauty of the other compositions by Galos you recorded as well. The Pianola Museum houses a large collection of beautiful 'salon' music for piano, captured on roles. Most of the pieces, and their composers unfortunately, are forgotten today: Thomé, Scharwenka and Pierné.

That is really interesting. I do not collect manuscripts, but would be fascinated to know if the manuscript actually spells out the name of the composer - which is a mystery.
i like it(:

@Porkolty Thank you. I was aware that the Pianola Museum had a roll of a Galos piece. I only wish we knew more about the composer.

If someone is interested in it, I have the original manuscript of this music written by C. Galos and I would like to sell it.

Love this. You also bring out the tune wonderfully.

Thanks - sometimes the simplest pieces are the most effective.

Did C. Galos composed "Le Lake of Come"

I believe so, although on the copy I have seen his name is spelt 'Galas'.

So beautiful it makes me cry, and beautifully played. This is the singing piano!

I'm pleased to have found a new audience for this old music. If it was once popular, it was for a good reason.
