Is this the most steam-tight locomotive around. It looks better-built than the original series. Beautiful valve gear too. What a triumph...

Hi, Not a 100% sure,my guess,as all 49 A1's were scrapped by 1966,and none were preserved,it's a fair bet this replica A1 is built from scratch.

this loco was built form scratch and also it isnt a replica, it was built as the next loco in the class, its the 50th A1.
