A genuine spiritual experience takes time and investment, smoking that shit is for lazy people. The Rabbis ruling was not suggesting that hemp is kosher as a hallucinogenic or drug.
The rebbe's position is weak: there is no injunction against cannabis in any non-Islamic holy scripture, plenty of evidence of its use in the ancient world, and not a single shred of evidence that it's nearly as harmful as - for instance - wine.
If the good rebbe is ready to ban all alcohol consumption then he'll be free of the hypocrisy which, at this time, reveals him to be a complete hypocrite.

This is silly. Hemp seeds are kosher (outside of pesach), delicious, and contain no THC.
The issur on Marijuana is clearly given in a tshuva by Moshe Feinshtein, it covers 5 areas of the issue (not just from a health basis).
