funny, growing up I always thought of that as Webster on that commercial. I was there during the 80s too. Just like any other period of the 20th century, it had its ups n downs. The 80s seemed pretty peaceful and joyous. At least in my part of the world. We were not in any big war, the economy was pretty strong, guys n girls dressed pretty nice, nobody i knew was ever worried or talking about global warming and the environment etc. But there wasn't internet & cell phones

This is important because germs and viruses these days may have mutated (either by human intervention or otherwise) into being much more dangerous and much more fatal.

Secondly, bacterial infections have gotten stronger through the rampant abuse of antibiotics. Kids should play in the dirt. It's good for them. It's why many of them are instictively drawn to it.
