Innocent people have died in wars since Homo Sapiens first existed. The loss of life is unfortunate. That said, I strongly think the Iraqi reporter was a double agent of sorts. Also, ground troops were under attack the entire morning. You can hear them talking about it in the unedited version of the video, and it is documented in the official report. And yes, carrying a weapon in a war zone near where ground forces are under attack will get you shot...don't believe me? Try it.
