oh you cheeky cheater david ;) Was wondering if you could show us how to make chocolate decorations like makeing shapes and everything with melted chocolate? Great vid, much love xx
Within 10 minutes of watching this video I popped down to franklins to purchase these ingredients. Definitely a simple recipe and a hit with family and friends. Thanks onePotChef !
@EricPulgarin The store bought eclairs have low quality ingredients, like artificial flavors and corn syrup. Its a better choice to make your own homemade eclairs.
@OnePotChefShow Dont feel bad EpicMealTime are great at what they do but your a Family type based cook and are here to show people (like me) how to cook at home =)
@OnePotChefShow yeah but you have to admit epicmealtime is funny and some recipes look delicious (and unhealthy of course) haha im subscribed to both for you I get real recipes for them I get my fill of bacon
One pot Chef, you rock man, I haven't tried to prepare anything you've made yet, but the videos are great, you have a good demeanor, great manners, and just all around good personality. I hope you do well, you seem very passionate about cooking and it's good to see someone who's passionate who enjoys teaching too. Just wanted to give some words of encouragement.
Hiya, I live in the uk and at the supermarket I can only get sponge fingers with like a sugar coating on the top will these be ok ??? x love ur vids keep uploading xxxx
My god that is genius! I never thought of something as simple as using sponge fingers to make chocolate eclairs, and they look great too. Thanks so much OPC for sharing this great recipe.
yes, tht's why i love mr one pot chef! keep it up please mister i looove how yummy all the food are, and i can feel the warmth from you too :) take care!
^^ Oh they look so good~ And I've heard that Pate a Choux is a little difficult to make. I will never be a pastry chef, ever! There's too much for my brain to handle :P
@HybridHumanSquid I don't blame you! I gave up on Choux pastry years ago - it's just too easy to mess up. Best to leave it to the lucky few who can make it flawlessly every time :)
@babylove201089 Actually they are Italian, they are also known by the name "Savoriardi" - might be worth asking at your local supermarkets. There really isn't any substitute, short of making the choux pastry (which is why this recipe was made - to avoid that!)
@spuogis That would be nice - but I think most of the people who ask are new to cooking and are terrified of making a mistake / wasting ingredients :)
@TakanashiYuuji The sponges finger biscuits are already crisp on the outside, and soft but firm on the inside. You shouldn't need to crisp them up any more.
OMG! so easy! and they look soooo yummy! I want one!!! So those sponge fingers are like ladyfingers right? they look like them, only those ones are bigger and spongier lol... I dont think i could cut ladyfingers like that
@OnePotChefShow Well, with that answer I did a little lazy and found that they are the same. Italian Sponge Fingers in Australia = Lady finger in USA (in my country is neither cause I speak spanish but I learned the USA term). Thanks for this recipe by the way (well, all of them actually). I'll stop writing now lol
I think you're a genius! What a delicious cheat. Can't wait to make them! I don't suppose you can think of a cheat for something that tastes of a custard doughnut?

@karmagirl74 Honey, you could eat these once an hour, every hour for the next 5 years and not have a "lard ass" - you got a rock-hard butt that brings all the boys to the yard (Kelis reference ftw!)
