Actually it's translated wrong...the German language is very touchy.

This song is "Du Hast" which means "You Have" but if you were to add another S as in "Du Hasst" THEN it would mean "You Hate".

...they did go back and make another song with the "Du Hasst" meaning though...it's just not the one that everyone knows.
