There's not really anything not to believe in. Our pollution heats up the earth and kills it. But it isn't anything to get hyped up about. Simply driving less and recycling, which is really easy, helps a lot. You don't have to do much.

@JonThm No, sorry JonThm, the world is not cooling, it is heating up. That is called global warming, which is leading to climate change. That means that local weather may even be colder on average in one place while hotter in another.

Yet 91% of the world's glacial ice is in Antarctica, where the average temperature is around minus 40 degrees Celsius. The melting point of ice is zero degrees. So for the ice to melt on any scale the Antarctic temperature would need to rise by around 40 degrees, which NOBODY is predicting.

While we were debating for the last few decades, snow in Mont Kilamanjaro (highest mountain in Africa) has receded significantly (almost no snow left as of 2010). Also, the arctic was nearly ice free in summer 2009, and there was rain in 2010. The amount of hurricanes increased in both numbers and strength. In 2004, a hurricane appeared for the first time in the South Atlantic. Malaria has spread to new heights affecting thousands of people.

Kilimanjaro has been getting colder since 2007 & the ice caps are back to where they were years ago. You comment on the North Pole is laughable. Nearly ice free ? Only some outer parts of the Pole have lost ice, the pole itself is always frozen. Additionally other parts of the pole on the European side have had increases of ice.

The Huffington Post recently deleted many of my posts, and then it removed my profile, Xarkonul, even though I had in no way violated The Huffington Post’s stated guidelines. Even if The Huffington Post has the legal right to censor whomever it pleases, those in charge there should at least clarify in their guidelines that they censor people with whom they disagree ideologically. @Nightversionn That storm in the UK was nothing compared to other storms Britain has faced for the last 100 years. We are on the edge of the North Atlantic. Apart from Ireland we have always been known to be the windiest country in Europe. The warm air from the Gulf Stream hits the cold air from the Arctic over Britain & Ireland causing some wild weather. This is the reason why Britians weather varies so much from sub tropical humid days to Arctic weather. The Sydney M Herald report is a lie.

I'm always curious to know where people get their information from or if they just make it up. The challenge for you, since you are making the assertion that 'its colder in some countries', is to back it up. The other option of course is to resort to name-calling, answering the question with a question or deflect it by politicising it. That's what most deniers do.

If any of the pro AGW sector actually bothered to read all of it, which I doubt it is obvious to any one with half a brain AGW is a scam. The UK govt concluded following there so called investigations into the emails that the scientists were genuine but naive. It's interesting how sifting through tens of thousands of e-mails from an organisation supposed to be part of a global conspiracy there were only a handful of e-mails of ANY dubious nature - I've read those. In context they make perfect sense:
1) A few words taken out of context
2) Scientists venting frustration at pseudoscience or bad science
With all the rubbish they have to deal with I'd expect more vitriol from climatologists.

There's not really anything not to believe in. Our pollution heats up the earth and kills it. But it isn't anything to get hyped up about. Simply driving less and recycling, which is really easy, helps a lot. You don't have to do much.
