Wow the school system in the United States are getting much worse than I had thought. They are paid next to nothing, work like slaves, are beaten, raped, and work at gunpt. The sugarcane co. are run by Dominicans of Spanish blood. I had a prof. who lived in Uganda and worked with these children. Most Ugandans are trying to keep these kids safe. The issue is Joseph Kony, his Aunt, and others in the LRA are INSANE. Africans sold their own for slavery since the beginnning of written history. Black slave traders captured and sold slaves to arab countries thousands of years before any European slave trade. Europeans tinkered with chattel slavery and then outlawed it just like they abolished the feudal system etc. Today, you can still buy slaves all over Africa. Wow the school system in the United States are getting much worse than I had thought. In regards to the comments here about the American Civil War, somehow people are still led to believe that the Union actually fought to free the slaves. The Union wanted the slaves free because they were the backbone of the Confederate economy. Basically, no slaves meant the Confederacy's economy would collapse and would not be able to continue to fund the war. The Union did not care about slaves.

Thank you for posting. The world needs to see this. Currently in the Dominican Republic, young Haitians are sent over to be sugarcane cutters. They are told they will get good $. They are paid next to nothing, work like slaves, are beaten, raped, and work at gunpt. The sugarcane co. are run by Dominicans of Spanish blood. I'll bring more info on this later when I do more research. I have also been to the DR and Haiti both 4x's.

I had a prof. who lived in Uganda and worked with these children. Most Ugandans are trying to keep these kids safe. The issue is Joseph Kony, his Aunt, and others in the LRA are INSANE. Yes this is so sad and I would like to comment on some of the whites saying blacks sold other blacks that is true but the bargain was the slaves were to work a year or two and go back to their lands, instead whites who were slaves as well went to their lands and blacks were held against their will because blacks handle the sun better than whites and in those days black men were considered more masculine than white men and other races that were enslaved thats the difference.

The bargain philosophy was created by liberals. Actually, SOME African cultures ran things that way where you were a slave for just a year or two. However, others did not. Some of them you could be a slave for 20 yrs. Now, that is not for life and it's not passed to the baby (huge difference) but many still did die in those 20 yrs.

Africans sold their own for slavery since the beginnning of written history. Black slave traders captured and sold slaves to arab countries thousands of years before any European slave trade. Europeans tinkered with chattel slavery and then outlawed it just like they abolished the feudal system etc. Today, you can still buy slaves all over Africa. Slavery is an Africa TRADITION, it's normal African culture. In fact many tribes still require payment for the purchase of a wife.
