@tamaduni haha, your'e right, I've come across some racists with that same basis, they're just weak and can't deal with it so they turn to slurring their racist profanities. Of course though... this can work the same way around, I'm only talking from personal experience. In Australia.
@primeboxers My last name is Mildenberger, and I looked it up. Apparently, Karl was my grandpa's cousin or something like that. I thought that was kinda cool haha
@truthhitmanisback Ali, no doubt. Tyson was a beast, but he never had the competition Ali faced. Tyson worked on intimidating people, and who do you think was scarier, Tyson or Foreman? My bet's on Foreman, and Ali took him way out of his prime.
@andrewr62 Tyson was not as strong as Foreman. Yes, Tyson had ambi-dexterous power, but he also didn't have the stamina to put up a good fight for 15 rounds (as that was the norm in those days)
Tyson was good at early round knockouts. But Prime Ali was really good at not getting knocked out, especially in the early rounds.
@Dalittheuntouchable Forman was a ponderous heavy puncher much like Liston. Tyson had extremely quick combinations with Ko power. Tyson in my opinion was a much more dangerous fighter because he would connect in combination. With big George who I respect, he had a great stiff jab and a monster right but was a one-two type combination fighter. Tyson would connect with 5 or six punches. As for Ali if Joe Frazier could get inside, the much quicker Tyson would have gotten inside.
@andrewr62 What matters is the gap between foreman's hitting power and Tyson's. Yes, foreman was slow and cumbersome, but he pinned off the ring and would dominate from there. Even if Tyson is faster, he doesn't have the foreward momentum Joe had. No punch you threw at Joe stopped him from coming forward, which really sets him apart from other fighters of his style. Tyson had to really plant his feet and stop moving to throw meaningful punches.
Lol, you'd be at least 50 years if you'd been around for this fight. Believe you me, you don't want to be a wrinkling, fading 50 year old. But I get your point. A lot of good fights in the past but plenty of outstanding ones now as well.
@TR3Y4LI4E It was fun! I was a product of the 60's, The first part of the 60's White were horrificly prejudice against Blacks. Then after the summer of love (1967) Everything changed! 1967 until 1972 was probably the most unified time in U.S. History. Whites were united with Blacks against Vietnam. Muhammad Ali was very, very popular and spoke at College Campuses ALL over the U.S. Lots of interracial marriages and affairs. Great Music, Woodstock, The Beatles, The Temps! Ahhh, the 60's!
Alis style was not that of a runner. He was a mover, circler, and punched at angles. This was an effective style that he emulated from Sugar Ray Robinson!
Southpaws are always hard to fight. He koed him. What more do u want..a murder? Ali showing his greatness in the first half of his carrer against a tough awkward southpaw!
it kind of pisses me off the whole fight isn't posted. It was great, I remember seeing it on espn classic and marvelling at karl's ability to dodge ali's swift strikes. It was a great fight, I kind of feel this video discredits mildenberger a little.

Anyone can see punches coming, he probably just guessed and moved...What a puss, he didnt guess that right hand was coming, he aint gonna guess nothin else cuz now he got brain damage lmao...
Mildenberger moved his head well early in the fight, making Ali miss often, but some punches did land.
Later he was concussed and a greater fraction of punches landed because of the concussion and pain. At the part of the fight this video shows Karl was in a lot of pain.
@bungholebunghole Parkinsons is not a brain damage. It's a syndrom that effects the brain. Inside, your just the same, but on the outside; you're shaking and can hardly speak understandably!
@fadethetrade no he don't. parkinsons effects your nerve system, not your brain at all. he has actually been tested for brain damage many times and they have found nothing.
If you ever tried swnimming in the deep end of a lake, you'd realize that the more you stay in motion; especially your legs , the more likely you will stay afloat.
Mildenberger gave a good showing. This is just a few seconds.. Ali was awesome, but everyone on the planet gets beat.

@Dalittheuntouchable We will never know but Ali never faced a knocked puncher with either hand with hands
as quick as the young Mike Tyson. Unlike the one armed Joe who simply bobbed his head up and down,
young Tyson had excellent head and upper body movement. At there best, I would go with Iron Mike.
