  • @Impess99 I don't know much about termites, but I do know a fair bit about ants. And those are exactly like ant queens.

The only thing that throws me off, which might cause me to believe they're termites, is how they're grouping in their landing spot.

  • Haha, all Aussies out there, I've never had a case of Termites... and I'm in Victoria!

  • O mi gosh these were everywhere today. But mine were loosing their wings. I think they already mated.

  • i saw this happen outside at our tree stump. It was the coolest thing ever! from far away, i didn't know what was happening. i thought maybe it was smoke or something.

  • @watermelonorange

Hey dude, you from Australia? I had this happen in brisbane Qld, massive gum tree stump (2.5 m high in backyard) I thought the same thing as you, it was absolutely spectacular, a steady "smoke" stream. Went on for 20 mins. LOL, realised what it was and poured petrol around it, then lit it! Woompfh! Freaky though knowing the destruction they can cause! Did you end up getting termites in your house or anything?

  • @ibsn87 Nope - Memphis, TN. Our house is treated to prevent termites, so they never moved in.

  • holyy shit

  • Oh my GOD! That is horrifying!
