  • until you have a bad accident like i had 25 years ago this all looks good but i warn tht any accidental fire will leave you surrounded with hot burning melting plastic and like youres truly hair that wont grow back.i am not trying to give you heck but it happend to mme

  • @TheSmoooooo Yeah, making a homemade spray booth is acutally a dangerous thing. I would never surround myself in plastic like that. Crazy!

  • I'm a spray painter by trade and i have to say good on you mate, that's a top effort at improvising at home! A+

  • god thats a bad booth... BAD i say BAD!!

  • Thanks for the comment.

I used a continuous length of 4 mil plastic that was 8' tall. I screwed the plastic between two pieces of pine strapping 3/4" x 2" I think. My garage ceilings are 9' tall so I have a 1' opening at the top where the fresh air will come in. It works better if you make sure that the bottom of the plastic lays tight against the floor. The length of the booth is around 15' and the width is around 10' but you can size it to suit your needs and available space.

    Good Luck

  • great idea:
