Although there are woman who chose to get in the business the fact remains most of them, especially young ones, are tricked or stolen. Hate to say it, but I agree with the reporter - this is very common, and it affects all economic classes, races, and sexes. It sounds cruel and graphic when we think of pimps using children, but sometimes it involves parents and it is not always about money. Catholic priests and pimps are not the only ones guilty of sexually exploiting children. Sad but true.

awareness is a problem though.some young children leave home in the hope that they can get a job in the city. i did a school report on this before and, true story, there was a young girl who left with a strange man who was a "friend" of a store owner in her village. He said she would get a job as a maid to a richfamily in the city. but she was sold to a brothel. it was due to lack of awareness that this happened. if she or her mother (her father died) knew about this, it wouldnt have happened.
