  • shameless idiots directly using this plant's electricity for their livelihood, and quitting pot for just one day to prevent the people who work there from getting in to do their job. typical.

  • Hey greenpeace. If you got the money for those plants then please do build a energy friendly plant and give it to some country. But dont tell countries what to do since it aint easy to runa country/plants cost s shitton of maniez. So unless you got da maniez then STFU (no offense though)

  • Poland is a country where energy is obtained mostly from coal.

The biggest number of wind power plants was created in China the number of 5910 from 2007 was doubled to 12210 in 2008. A rapid growth in wind energy is taking place in Turkey 147 plants in 2007 and 433 in 2008 as well as in Poland 276 plants in 2007 and 472 in 2008. At the end of 2008 the combined power of wind installations in Europe was 64949 MW, which is 15% more than in 2007.

  • yeah that's safe- having some people break in and then climb up the stack. that lady is a moron.

also, if you're going to block the roads then it shouldn't come as a surprise when the police show up and haul you away.

  • Greenpeace are idiots.

  • Greenpeace. Against Coal, Oil, Nuclear, and humanity.

  • Poland just CAN'T quit coal. Many countries have money for alternative sources of energy, but 200 years ago they didn't. And polish situation is like England (for example) 200 years ago, cause we were ocupated for 123 years by Austria, Germany and Russia before World War I, and after World War II we were occupated by Russia to 1989, so we lost many years when we could evolve. You should go to russian energy plants.Maybe you'll tell me, that Russia is more environmentally friendly than Poland?

  • Poland is not ready to quit coal for the present time, I'm sure they will quit it as soon as it will be possible and another thing is that The Greenpeace should quit using that old Mercedes Benz truck at the first time if the are so concerned about saving the enviroment :)

  • Konin is not one of the most polluted cities in Poland... from where You have such knowledge? There are coal power plant but alsow lots of woods.

Idea of quit coal is good in long term but for now Poland and many other countries are not ready to do so. Especialy in time of world financial crisis.

  • great job!

  • Spierdzielajcie do dżungli jak chcecie żyć ekologicznie... wstyd za takich ludzi naprawdę...

  • Good job

  • are we gonna see part 2?

  • Konin is one of the most polluted cities in Poland.
