Whatcha on about? Bands change as they go, they don't decide on a sound and keep it, the sound changes just like it does with individual people. Brand New's a great example of this, and I think they've stayed awesome throughout. Ffaf have always and will always be awesome, no matter what they churn out.

FFAF is good know matter what they play. Bands get older and do lighter things but it doesn`t mean they sold out. They still have the Old sound but cut down on the screaming n if ur a fan of a band because they play hardcore and dont like em cause they changed, then ur not a fan of the band ur a fan of post-hardcore. There are many different genres but its all about how good u play it whether its light or heavy. Same goes for AFI.

But AFI sounds nice. Crash Love has punk moments as well in yet managing to melt it on hard rock that has the same emotion like bands like 3 Days Grace or Breaking Benjamin. Davey Havok has amazing vocals and the band itself has their own type of rock thing going on right now so along with FFAF they're one of the best rock acts out these days seeing as how majority of them sound like Nickelback or forgot what post hardcore truly is, or just like using auto tune way to much.
