  • Typical English media. Hilarious.

  • "So much is in the head, isn't?".. how about a top class youth program like in Germany.

  • Unbezahlbar! Diese Flaschen von englischen Dumschwaetzern koennte ich noch in 10 Jahren anschauen und wuerde mich totlachen!

    England...

Der Frass ist Muell, das Wetter furchtbar und Fussball sollten die besser nicht spielen.

  • This is just typical english media. They think their team are better than anyone and not surprisingly, they can't back it up. Its great how the Germans thrashed them and made them eat their words. Why underestimate the team you cant beat? Don't give me that 5-1 game, because that game was pointless.

  • To all english people i just want to say that the whole world laughs at u hahahahahahaahh

  • "The name is bigger than it seems. They are very beatable." WHO HAS WON THE GAME, HUH?

Germany is very unterraded imo. We've shown what we can do, that we're powerful even though many players are young. The team has big potential and just because we haven't won doesn't mean we aren't good.

I can't stand those "alnalyst" Half of us could be better than those jerks.

  • "Germany is very beatable." As far as I'm concerned, they were maybe the best team in the World Cup. Everyone underestimated them.

  • haha the Germans are average side!! still goit beat by them though :)

  • If the players dont even know who their opposition is and the way that they play, besides the name of the team which in this case is germany, then there is something seriously wrong with the system.

  • I hope the english people out there don't think that I am not patriotic for saying this, because I also want england to do well. However, england fans and media need to face up to some basic truths, much like germany (after euro 2004) and spain (after wc 2006) did, that their team is just not good enough to play the way they are playing. They need substantial change in the way players interact with each other, training regimes and discipline (which they don't like).

  • This game not only showed that england were way overrated, but also proved that English Journalism is terrible and filled with mass hysteria. The only reason that these idiots think germany are 'average' is because they don't watch or research anything about foreign football during any time of the year. They are merely actors reading a script and compared to bbc radio 5 or even RTE in ireland, both of which give fairer analysis, lineker, hansen, shearer and the other idiot are only cheerleaders

  • england only can better talk and make arrogant propaganda before games against germany..but every time they lose..in the past..and if i look on england i think for the future too.. may be they will win in 11m shootout..but i dont think so :D

  • @JiggaLan82 ok without 66 sorry.. ;)

  • That changed one week later, after Argentina had been blown from the pitch. And changed again after Spain outclassed us...Nevertheless those BBC comments are approx. ten times better and more interesting than our German TV rubbish, where non-experts and half-dead old farts talk nonsense all the time.

  • lol they didnt even realise how good this german side was

  • England were not as bad as we have been told. It was a tight game until Mueller scored twice, Germany was - unusually - mainly defending, just the England team was badly organized. This was - and still is - Capello's job and we will see if he is going to improve during the European finals this year. Nevertheless BBC analysis lacked any knowledge about German football and its players, failing to identify Schweinsteiger as the key player, comparing PL club football with national team ones (!) etc.

  • It's true that the German team is an average team, however when you judge them individually. But as a team they play great, they know how to play as a team and that is what is important. The England team however have better players individually however they are incapable of playing as a team and therefore that is their biggest weakness and the reason for their defeat.

  • @Devil1170

You would call Schweinsteiger, Oezil, Mueller, Lahm etc. "average"???

Even individually they are much better than the likes of Barry, Lampard and Defoe.

  • @Devil1170 WTF u talking about????? germany has way more skilled players than england! the only good skilled player is rooney the other ones are just pure aggression players who have no technique

  • hahahah thats very nice! never saw that before. this average team he is speaking about, is almost at least in every semi-final of every big tournament...

what a stupid comment that is from Mr. Hansen

  • england still got banged 4 1 fuckin english

  • hansen got one thing right "mertersaker is still shit"

  • every team has their nightmare opponents, as we all know England has Germany, the greatest revality in history I think, than of course Germany has a nightmare aswell and it beggins like this the letters ITA, guess who :D, others: Brazil has France...

  • @theoneandonlydenny

Germans don't consider England their rivals, Germans consider the match against England a classic, likewise with Argentina, Switzerland, France, Italy, Brazil, Spain, Austria and other matchups, but that's it. Germanys traditional footballing rival: the Netherlands. Just like Mexico v USA or Brazil v Argentina.

  • The arrogance of those clowns is unbelievable...

  • lmao i love how confident the english coverage always is before a typical ass whooping

  • So funny if you know what will happen :D

  • "Germany 2002 very well..." - The german team of 2002 was probably the worst german team in World Cup history...

Why is this guy called an expert???

  • @SuperJuliusC He said that the 2002 German World Cup side were the worst German side in history but he said they did well in the World Cup. He didnt say they were good.

  • ozil is internationally regarded as germanys best player by far. lucky germans getting a world class immigrant to play for them

  • @RasnaZaMan Please reelise Mesut Özil i'snt an immigrant .He is BORN in Germany, his Father is BORN in Germany ,His Grandfather came at the beginnig 70th to Germany please check the facts .

  • @RasnaZaMan

Check the facts, he was born in Germany, the same for his father.

  • To be fair, no one really expected the german team to be thaat good.. it's such a young team with players that just made it into the nationalteam... now, after the world cup, after games against england and argentina we all know how talented those players are... i m from germany and in germany we always say how great the english football experts and commentators are.. i love listening to this group of guys discussing football and i hate listening to boring german "experts", to be honest.

  • LOL. England's problem? Always have an "opinion" about the Germans, while knowing absolutely nothing about them. "IF Rooney improves". How long has England been waiting for Rooney to improve now?

  • pathetic...hahahaha

  • WE R ENGLAND AND WE R SHIT!

  • ...a result! The FA won't change things anytime soon.

  • Forget all this talk of psychology, expectation and foreign players in the Premier League. The truth is that English football at grassroots level has been shit for decades. When English players grow up and perform in major tournaments they lack the tactical nous, technical skill, versatility and intelligence that gives you that crucial edge over top quality opposition. We accidentally produce world class players once in a blue moon and then expect surrounding them with 8 average players to get

  • I wonder what the German punditry before the game was like?

  • they looked so relaxed pre match the germans haha

  • if mertesacker is awful, then upson is even worse. the whole back four was just abysmal

  • at least they realized that özil is a real threat

  • Where is the analysis of the psychological aspects? I think england should have gathered more titles if it wouldnt had to cope with its own quirks!

  • 02:14 Lee Dixon: The Germany side - the name is bigger than the team

14:29 Gary Lineker: It is not Slovenia - it is Germany

14:36 Alan Hansen: Germany 2002 very well, 2006 average, this team is average as well

  • @2010GermanFootball

    German Midfielder Özil 06:42

English Midfielders Lennon, Wright-Phillips and Milner 10:07

German Defenders on left side Badstuber and Boateng 12:36

  • @2010GermanFootball - I thought Germany 2002 were good. 2006 they were good, young team - which I knew was for the future. Germany 2010 were absolutely super. Had it not been for Mueller's suspension for the semi, Spain would not be champions.

  • @2010GermanFootball

    You shouldve watched on ITV.

Andy Townsend ( supposedly a Irishman) before the match: "OUR boys are just too good for the Germans"

  • Alan Hansen reminds me of that Iraqi "information minister" who boasted that "we will encircle the American pigs in their tanks they have to surrender" :D =)

  • If all of England weren't so busy smelling their own farts and claiming victory before the game has even started, they'd maybe actually win something. Or at least get reasonably close. Instead it's all talk and no show time and time again.

  • @amillionwatts Agree:) A real disadvantage for the english is their press including their ex-top players, which only chat without any idea to make it better.

  • The English know that the premier league is the strongest cause they can have afford the best players and yeah its true. But how many English were playing for United, Arsenal, Chelsea, City or Liverpool? Just a very few. Here in Germany we dont have so many teams with so much money so they need to pick their own talents from the second squad. In my opinion one of the reasons why Germany is better than England. Just a few foreign players were playing for the Bundesliga. See us in Poland/Ukraine

  • The funniest thing about this is the fact that Dixon mentions Ballack (the only German he had heard of because he played in the PL). Outside this tiny insular circle of idiots, everyone knew that Germany were greatly strengthened by the absence of Ballack, thanks to the great young players that then went on to annihilate Germany and Argentina.

This video should be played to BBC sport after which all four incompetent fuckwits should be sacked.

  • @gusemcontra - True, I was only one I knew of that said Germany were doing very, very well without Ballack.

  • @gusemcontra

Yes, the analysis was weakened by their lack of actual knowledge about the german players, they seem to not watch the Bundesliga and then just assume 'If i don't know the players on this team, they are probably not that good'.

But that the 'German team was greatly strengthened by Ballacks absence' was far from beeing common knowledge in Germany. Yes, many people said that, and retrospective most football fans agree, but before the WC there was no consensus about this at all.

  • Such a poor analysis.

An average side who played dreadfully against Slovenia (let alone against the US and Algeria) and who were totally outclassed by a very good Germany side who clearly have the better players.

'Man for man' Germany were better, and of course as a team.

Anyone who watches football outside of the Premiership would have known that Germany were about to annihilate an average England side with average players.

  • England is not even England anymore just like Man Utd really isn't Man Utd. It's just a really bad team with too many black immigrants using the name England.

  • 4:1 eh 555+

  • HAHAHAHAHAHA "average side" ... Alan Hansen you KNOB!

  • No, Germany aren't an average team. Even as an England supporter I love the way they play. However it's time for Wilshere, Parker, Walcott, Milner, Lennon and Carroll to shine. If we play without egos and stick to the 4-3-3 formation, we could in a few years time, realistically be competition with Germany, Spain and Holland. Can England do it? Who says they can't?

  • England's star players like Barry, Milner, Lampard and Upson are man-for-man better than the 'eminently beatable' Oezil, Mueller, Schweinsteiger, Klose

  • LMAO @ the video link which contains the most known defending of Alan Hansen.

Dude, isn't it human to make mistakes? Football players like Pele, Zidane, Klose, etc. are gods but ultimately they are humans after all. So it's quite insolent on your part to do such a thing.

    Anyways, LOL. :-D

  • @warnpassion You are right :-) BUT Pele, Zidane and Klose would never tell 6 times in one hour how AVERAGE other players are ... Mr. Alan Hansen´s "AVERAGE" was my motivation to create this channel !

  • The average Germany squad that should've won the World Cup, Mr Hansen.

  • Alan Hansen does chat shit

  • hahahahahahaha!

  • well played by the germans....

  • "An average side who are eminently beatable"

    --

If i was German i'd make a point of ramming this arrogant & embarrassing pre-match waffle down the English's throats forever...

    Sadly i'm English...

  • @supahdupahguy81 I thought we did ;-)

  • @supahdupahguy81

Well it is not your fault that your self-proclaimed experts are such idiots and trust me, our German experts are not any better. Sometimes I think to be a football commentator or analyst it is required to get trapped in a revolving door or something.

  • I don t understand why the Englands believe they have the best team in the world.

Sure, the Premier League is a top league of the world, but how many english players are in the team for example in Chelsea or Arsenal, the top teams of league?? At Borussia Dortmund the german champion of 2010/2011, are 8 german players (awesome players !!) in team. The golden gerneration of england will die slowly if the english top teams don t change their philosophy for young english players!!

  • @Janny2395

Trust me, we don't believe this.

  • The English analyze their advantages and lose. The Germans analyze their disadvantages and win. Leanr from it, England... or better don't. Your arrogance is just hilarious. :)

  • An average side? They played England off the park.

  • england have the better players

oh boy how they were wrong haha

  • @Guerillaradio13 agree. i think the fifa makes them a little overrated. but dont get me wrong they have strong players for sure but apperantly no better than germans at overall u see

  • The nerve of these pundits calling this exciting young German side "average". They didn't know anything about this new team to have an opinion of them. Judge your own pathetically weak comically overrated team 1st. Mentally deluded idiots.

  • Hansen 0:43 "England have the better players if they play well they win."

    NO. YOU. FUCKING. DON'T.

  • This Alan Hansen is a funny guy, very funny guy. He has no idea about football. Germany 2006 average and 2002 good ? 2002 was bad, but germany still made it to the final because the other great teams were so bad. 2006 was good football but there was italy in the semi final. Really no clue.

  • such cocky pre-match commentary from hansen..obviously not a big follower of the bundesliga, otherwise he'd have said a few things differently. the german team average?lay off the pints alan for god's sake!!

  • making semi finals is average?

  • 'Average side and eminently beatable'.Did they not see what the German u21 side did to them in 2009?How many players from that side were at the world cup(5 I think).Combined with great experienced players it was a fantastic team to anyone else who wasn't English. Great post.Very entertaining.

  • What do you expect ? they got to be confidence , they have to say that germany is average , its the opponent team . But Germany learnd them better :-) England totally fucked up at the WC , i think the key fact was Rooneys injury during CL against Bayern , with a health Rooney in that shape before the injury it has been a different story .

  • @72krikri lmfao at your comment. Rooney.....really? Their defense was horrible!

  • are the tommys allready to loose against us the next 20 jears????

    i dont think so.

    but that's the reality :-)

    you'll ever loose.

    greeting from mannheim germany

    andy

  • "the name is bigger than the team"

great experts! they saw what happens when you underestimate the germans!

  • This is some funny shit.

    Gotta love the English. :D

  • The Germans are not "freestylers" with the ball they are just more stronger and way more quicker especially on the counter-attack, and therefore in order to beat them you have to keep the ball and "frustrate" them as much as possible.

  • Hansen schouldn't be called an expert! Germany: 2002 very well, 2006 average? In fact it's vice versa. Also Shearer and Dixon should know it better. They played against Germany. And then Shearer said before the World Cup: "Only 2-3 Germans would make the English squad." I don't understand it. Sure, you have to cheer for your team, but the comments are way beyond reality!

  • We were average in 2002 not 2006 Mr.Hansen muppet. Th problem with english football is that english players are totally overrated. They play with the best foreign players together but then you see them playing like crap against Algeria or USA... And english players have the biggest salary and average strikers like carroll 35 million. rofl

  • I dont know who this hansen is but he is stupid like a bread.

germany 2006 average?? The most exciting and best games were with germany who dont trust me watch the higlights of every german wc 2006.

We beated Argentina the biggest favorite of this tournament and lost against the later worldcupwinner italy in the last minute of the addition time. But Italy had a simple game vs Ukraine in the quarter and we against argentina who were the best team till the quarter.

  • i`m not a football fan ... but in my opinion it is not fair ... England is only a small country and have only a small population ... it is only logic that germany wins.

    Boxing is better.

  • @feuerwassergeist So China and India should be the best football countries....what a logic is that? :D

  • Ha,it's comical how arrogant English pundits are, totally brainwashed.Especially Hansen, and he is Scottish! Maybe they got a wake up call now!

  • germanys back four looked very naive but then improved

  • thank god, some1 went to the trouble of finding the analysis

  • In your face Alan Hansen!

  • The problem is just that they have been considered "average" for quite some time now and they have been "surprising" the world for an even longer time.

Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, ...

  • nah every1 thought the germans were going to be average EVEN GERMANS B4 THE WORLD CUP said there team were weak, they were a surprise

  • How many black players in the german team ? how many black players in the english team ? GO FIGURE !!

  • Of course these analysts are going to say that England has great players and Germany has average players... Yeah, half of the players on the German roster in 2010 also played in 2006 and made it to the SEMI-FINAL... How far did England get?

Germany has the most determination and consistency IN THE WORLD when it comes to international championships. England? They have a bunch of over-payed premier league "Stars".

    GERMAN PRIDE

  • @Rednasyl28 don't forget the EURO2008 final, where was England, then?

  • thanks alot for the vid!

  • @sverenbom

I can see where you are coming from when it comes to friendlies, but these matches don't really have that much value, since they're often used to test new players and have no competitive character.

Qualifiers are another matter though and here, the German team came out of their campaign unbeaten. They even became the first team ever to beat the Russians in Moscow during it. Actually, their ability to always qualify for big tournaments is quite legendary.

  • This pure gold!

  • i was in England this day, the attitude from the BBC muppets, sums up these pundits, couldnt believe the rubbish i heard before kick off >__>

  • I remember watching this and thinking 'WHAT THE FUCK IS ALAN HANSEN TALKIN ABOUT'!!!!???? 'england have the better players, england have more big match experience' BULLSHIT. Many of the Germany players in the squad may be young but have played in a few World Cup Semi-Finals, Klose has been in a World cup Final. The Germans have far more big match experience and are by far, i can not stress it enough, the better players. the england have only been to quarter finals and get fucked always.

  • @fallschirmjager0000

It really was unbelievable, I mean look at the starting XI 6 players have now 3 medals for 3 big tournaments, klose even 4, Lahm, Schweinsteiger, Müller and Klose played already in a CL-final, meanwhile made Neuer a magnificent performance against Man Utd and Ozil and Khedira got into Real Madrid's starting XI in their first season at the club.

Moreover three players in the squad scored more international goals than the England internationl top scorer.

  • I wouldn't say that German press is usually relentlessly pessimistic. They're rather measured (except for the BILD-Zeitung), that's all. Before this particular match, many newspapers figured the chances of winning for our team would be around 50 percent.

It's really the English press that keeps knocking the German teams, insisting that their players do not have the same skill as the English have. I always considered that to be counterproductive wishful thinking.

  • I don't know how often I've already heard it from English football "experts". The Germans are average, WE have the better players, Germany keeps defying the odds. I just wonder how long it will take for them to realize that they do not have the better players and that Germany's track record in World Cups and European Championships is far too consistent to be the product of pure luck or constant overachieving.

  • @BMeneau The England players are overrated when they don't play well they say it just wasn't our day or Rooney , Gerrard, wasn't 100% fit whereas they really are overrated i honestly think if Scholes went this World Cup the outcome would be the same, I think why we don't play well is the Germans have great two footed players where ours consist of only one footed players except for our foreigners it's all about technique really tbh we've never really learnt to control the game either.

  • @BMeneau Well said!!!! may they never realise Germany are better, their arrogance is their downfall.

  • What a bunch of silly english idiots (except GaryL.) arrogant and without knowledge

  • Ich liebe Elendstourismus :)

Alan Hansen ist so ein Trottel.

  • I really don't get why Germany is never considered a favorite in World Cups. They almost always get far. And I'm astonished by the ever returning arrogance of the English even though they almost never play a really good game even with their "great names". Germany finished in the top four 12 times, England just twice. England hasn't been in a semi final in 20 years.

Tanks for the vids, I've been looking for them for quite a while.

  • @Nickelbella Germany should be above Italy when it comes to the World Cup they've got to the semi finals of a World Cup something like ten times whereas England only twice.

  • @resilienceman

11 Semi-finals out of the last 15 World Cups!

    And 7 finals!

    3 wins.

    4 second place finishes.

    3 third place finishes.

    :-)

I remember when Germany played Uruguay. If Uruguay (a really fabulous team that scored some gorgeous goals - including the goal of the tournament in that game - Forlan's) had won, it would have been their best result in 60 years. If Germany won, it would be their best result since the last time around!

They are a big-tournament team, without a doubt.

    :-)

  • @Nickelbella

Germany never considers itself a favourite - that may have a lot to do with it. The German press is always relentlessly pessimistic, for example.

England is the opposite. The press always hype the team and are always convinced they'll win.

  • @Nickelbella

I think it's because of the poor perfomances of the Germans in friendlies and qualifiers. The Germans don't like these matches during the week. They need a long preparation to get into shape, which is why they look best at tournaments but quite bad in the two years between the tournaments. Hint for the future: If you see an average German team in a friendly two months ahead of a tournament, you can expect aa world class-team at the tournament.

  • Lee Disxon: failed.

  • Omg .. the tommys dont get it !!!

    Germany >England

Average is Englands second name !! Germany has much more flair/powe/vision ... bad loosers even before the game :D

  • @nitroDAcunha

Still won 2 World Wars eh?

And you have to remember this was before the game.

  • very well analyses - complete parts 1-4 ... thanks for these extra analysis scenes - GREAT CHANNEL
