  • hey, guru! Also look for the OFFLINE PROCESS HISTORY instead of the EDIT HISTORY. It will give you much more options! (And it's the real benefit of the Cubase offline processing compared to other DAWs)

    cheers mate

PS: You will find it by righclicking a region and select AUDIO => OFFLINE PROCESS HISTORY

  • what advantage is this over the freeze function? With the freeze the plug-ins are still loaded in to the project, so maybe that takes more ram?

  • @AaronOwenSmith The freeze function is primarily to turn OFF VSTI`s this is for adding effects offline which takes up no CPU/RAM

  • @CubaseGuru hmm, the freeze also works on track FX also, not just VSTs

  • @AaronOwenSmith yup it certainly does :)

  • great tutorial what was the reverb plugin used

  • Very nice. i will likely be using this from now on!!!! Thanks. FL Studio users have a guy named NFX. Cubase users have The CubaseGuru. It's about damn time. Thanks.
