This is a deep track. Man they killed it on this one I and relate to this one. Oh boy!@! Anyone here into 80's sleepers check Comsat angels tracks>>> 1. Falling 2. Will stay tonight 3. after the rain 4. Independence day or The Fixx tracks>>> 1. Saved by zero 2. stand or fall 3. Red skies at night Kajagoogoo tracks>>> 1. Hang on now 2. Islands 3. Power to forgive 4. Ooh to be ahh 5. Lions Mouth
It's a shame that this 1983 song wasn't released as a single, instead of being the B/side for "Promises, Promises", it would've been as smash hit as well, I always enjoyed this one, quality 80's pop music...
Awesome song! Pity it's not on any of the albums. I have this on my B-side to the US version of Promises, Promises (Yep believe it or not, there are two versions, US and UK. I think the UK version is on the album)
Another goodie from this album. I still have my treasured Naked Eyes vinyl LPs and 12" singles which get an occasional airing. Tony Mansfield, the underrated genius producer, is very evident on this album. Great stuff!
I have this as a 45 single. It was the B side to either Promises Promises or When The Lights Go Out. I always thought it should have been a bigger hit. I'm glad that I'm not the only one to know about this GEM! Thanks for posting, brought back a lot of good memories!
another under-rated English band. I belive this album came out when a lot of electronic bands we're discovering new avenues.
Tony Mansfield of New Musik, was the producer, and you can here his influences throughout.
I belive Rob Fisher of Naked Eyes and Climie Fisher is sadly no longer with us.

Yes I agree this should've been a single! Amen to that.

I love this group...Their music was the perfect matching of top notch production and superb lyricism-80's synth style. Two thumbs up!

Yes, could not have said it any better than you. These guys ruled the 80's with passionate, fun, cool, and melodic, synth-driven music.
I miss those carefree days of my youth.
