@Th3Xp3rt Well I like how initiative is done now. I didn't care for plp getting a ton of actions before non augmented plp got to go. Also, I like how attributes contribute more to your chances along with getting rid of the clunky skill tree thing. Also, I guess I'm partial to something that has similarities with White wolf systems. Also, I think adjustable condition monitors are better. I'm still uncertain about how nasty magic can get ...but we'll see.
In Snowcrash the 'net is called the "Metaverse" and it's a total virtual immersion. In Neuromancer, the 'net is called "the matrix", and it's... that's right, the same damn thing. Snowcrash put the "punk" in Cyberpunk with characters like "Hiro Protagonist" and the guy with "poor impulse control" tattooed on his forehead, whereas Neuromancer (or really, the entire Sprawl Trilogy) seems to focus on likable diehard professionals, only a few of which have catchy nicknames. Both are great sources.
I would love to join too if you have room, I've always wanted to try shadowrun but I think I would need to experience it being run by an experienced GM in order to really get it. Anyway, let me know.

I liked 3rd best as well. I think 4th handles Matrix better, but 3rd just worked.
