I speak this dialect and I have actually been accosted by chinese asking if we were Japanese and on one occassion Korean. No one remotely takes it for tibetan.

He made death-threats against me and hung death-tokens on my door. He is Lokta; LokYem; Tak Tsung Nang Trel Chak Cheu; Mutekpa. Furthermore, this trash insults Kalachakra, which he calls KALAWAKA. Tibetans don't realize they're associating with an enemy of Tibet, of Tibetans and of Tibetan Tantric Buddhism, the world's highest culture
It's dege dialect....maybe made by Chinese folks but still one of our own many dialects. Not Japanese people trying to speak Tibetan or Chinese sounding dialect. People...educate oneself in each other's backgrounds before making idiotic comments. Jeez! Khamke has many different varieties of accenting words, it isn't strange either...it has always been that way.

the khampa dialect , spoken by khampas from E. Tibet, sound kinda like how the samurais would speak in the Edo period.
