I remember doing this same thing with a 70's Eureka 1400-series. We did get an Oreck XL9100/Buster B pair later in the summer of '95. Of course since it was 8 lbs. it was a breeze for 7-year-old me to use, but that was before I realized that Orecks don't clean...
