@JaeTracie I'm actually really surprised that they would reject you, because you got the base skill and all that's missing is essentially more experience in front of big audiences and some finetuning to get raw skill into a form that can be sold to larger masses... and isn't that the whole point of those competitions? To find the raw diamonds, pick the best and polish them into perfection? They can't expect to pick ripe performers off the street just like that. Everyone starts from base skill.

Don't take this the wrong way but it's great you got rejected because maybe you're destined for bigger things in life if you notice ppl that don't win A.I. often are more successful than the winners...Jennifer Hudson, David Archuleta neither won but are pretty successful many blessings to you

Beautiful voice...Could you have gone all the way - YES & NO. You have a voice for small and intimate venues. You would get lost and lose that specialness about you. That is why I'm glad Naima left - she was starting to lose that soulful caribbean voice and attitude. In the music business - eventually everyone begins to sound just alike (if you notice on AI, everyone looks or sounds like some one else) - anyway stay true to YOU and keep singing.

I'm not doing these videos because I'm bitter (I would've tried out again if I wanted to make it). I'm doing these videos cause I want to share my voice and I'm so glad I can do it ON MY OWN TERMS. :)
