Many, many shows have been copied by different countries. It's nothing new to take a show from abroad and reformat it for the local market. Think American Idol (originally Pop Idol from the UK. X Factor is coming in the fall from the UK. Etc, etc).

Dear ddstud.: But who cares if it's been done in Canada?! it's still good. I'm sure some shows in Canada were done first in the US! Aren't we supposed to be neighbors? Smile, sweetie-pie :) Good kids share! I'd love to see the Canadian show too. It's all good.

Again I see Bravo has stolen our show from Canada. Daniel Murphy is the only Million Dollar Decorator... coined in 2004 --- Bravo show is not new... rip off artists.
check out the real Million Dollar Decorator Daniel Murphy first aired in Durham region and went National in Canada on our last episode...
