Gotta keep believing! I like that! The world is gonna throw so much at us and we can get down,I could hear that in your lyrics, you've been put through the mill a bit but you're not gonna give in. :)) Love your lyrics because they tell us what you're thinking and feeling Justin my bro. The music is really nice, the melody.and I love your use of that whole fretboard when you play! You're great with that acoustic guitar my buddy! Nice singing too, nice upper notes. You have a James Taylor style. :))
I like how this song unfolds. I like how you let us hang sometimes. You are a great singer and writer with a great perspective on life. I have small children of my own and when they come into your life you can't help but believe. Another beautiful song.
I believe too Justin...we all have this essential goodness we are born with and than its all about it being taken away from us..our faith or whatever it is that keeps us from giving in to the darkest corners of humanity...which we both know can be really dark... is under constant onslaught from the time we are born...I still believe...wonderful song Justin...
This is a great song justin, quite dark and feels like it was wrote from the heart, really like the chords you use, would love to hear you backing yourself us with some vocals on the chorus 5*
Very nice song, Justin, and I have to agree with Ron, I think standing when you sing your songs really works for you. Also, believing the best in people is a wonderful quality .. don't ever lose it :)
Thought I'd come up here and listen to some of your music since you commented on my channel . Wow, what excellent musicianship....you play wonderfully! Good vocals, great lyrics too.....this is five star vid. :)
Really nice!! Especially liked the change around 3:57 where you turned it into like a march followed by that beastly falcetto, then you brought it home with the mellow picking, just felt right!
A real nice song, love that note you hit with that diminshed chord min 1:38 It has what a great composition needs, dynamics, richness in chords, melody, breaks, structure and lyrics, Love it Buddy
Cheers!
Rick
P.S. Can´t wait to listen to your songs with the new gear
Its not too long at all, Justin. A very impressive song in form and performance and there is simply nothing more to add to your arrangement. Everything is in your guitar and voice just as it is. One observation, I think its good for you to stand when you perform as it seems to allow you to get into it more. -Ron
Great atmosphere, Justin. This would sound cool in a stadium, as the 'quiet song' by someone like Bon Jovi. I intend this as a compliment - it has a very, earthy 'American' sound to my ears :] 5*****
Nice one Justin liked the sentiment in the lyrics and some of those chords you put in there were very pleasing to my ears. I could imagine this as a full on rock number that builds and builds up to the solo bit then falls back down again at the end , just like you did but with full on drums and everything . Love listening to your songs bro keep it up.
this is impressive stuff

Awesome fake fade out as usual. Here's what I believe, I believe that song was very believable. And I also believe I loved it. Can you believe that?

This is also an amazing song! I really like your style.
I've got a question concerning your guitar... What kind of guitar is that?! I really like it and I am on the outlook for a new one (again ;)).
