Id say Trish Stratus(my personal favorite) is already recognized by WWE. They still conduct interviews in WWE Magazine, recognize her during WomensHistoryMonth, Film footage of the current Divas talking about her influence in todays WWE. Not to mention her special appearances. She is definitely shown appreciation by WWE. Lita is just as great in my opinion, however WWE begged her to stay and Lita said no. I suspect some people in the higher ups are still po'd about that one.

I've always thought that Lita was far better than Trish, I think that Trish became a 7 time champion just because Lita was injured for a long time when she broke her neck and was out of action due to her knee injury. She should've been that record 7 time women's champion she was the greatest female wrestler ever!

Trish was faster, better executer, better seller than Lita so... we can see with the eye of the heart or storyline type that Lita was better but... like it or not Trish was one of the greatest divas on the industry Lita dont even figure into those women that make history

She was the first woman on a main stream US market to fly like a cruiserweight and look like a model. The women's division was built around her for a time, and even Trish says Lita was one of the best, if not THE best, of women to lace 'em up. Not to mention how the current divas point to Lita AND Trish as pioneers for others that followed.

I still can't fathom what makes someone think Lita or Trish wouldnt be pioneers, especially considering how they led a renaissance in women's wrestling during the new millenuim, at a time when the major promotions relegated women back to their valet roles (i.e. Sunny, Terri Runnels, ect.) Lita captured imaginations with her in-ring work and Trish work ethic inspired other future female wrestlers.
i dont care about how much you like lita or trish ... they dont change anithing in wrestling just WWE and WWE dont represent the entire wrestling they just change that women can look good and wrestle thats all, something thats is superficial cause any women can wrestle looking good or bad i think is about talent not beauty contest
