Where can I start leaning about how these devices work? I wish I had some book or something to teach me about what parts are called, how the machinery depends on each specific material,etc. I just have no idea where I can start though.
@technology49 A few were presents from my childhood, some were donated, the others came from junk shops and auctions, and the one above was made by my father in his garden shed
You say your father was not a engineer I would disagree he was a master engineer just becouse this was his 1st creation 90% of steam engineer us plains of some type. Your father was old school like my father he could see somthing working in his head and could bring it to life. And remember the time frame ower father grow up in thay didn't have much thay used what thay could find lieing about it is a very rare and dieing art .I Thank You and your Father I enjoyed this video very much.Lovly Engine

And the occasion was captured on vhs video tape, I should add it runs like a Swiss watch.
