I spent 3 years of my life in lovely Paris and it all looks the same in this video - even the childeren playing with their boats in jardin des Luxembourg! Amazing !
I am in the midst of a writing project where the main character is recalling a visit to paris in the 1930s. This footage has helped me to gain perspective on the era from the point of view of a visiter. I am here now with the shutters of my Latin quarter flat open, and the ajar. The flow of traffic rumbles like a waterfall, the people and bicycles fill the streets much like they do in these images.
I appreciate this uploading of historic footaged! Merci!!

what is this fuck... words... why the french are pig? why the french are coward my dear azgirl2?
i shit on this racism and this prejudice! what is your problem? I am French and I love my country but I love the other country like the U.S.A...Ok? So, not nastiness pleeeaaase! Thank you and my apologize for my bad english
Me too..I'm with you on this time machine thing. I have always thought.. wouldn't it be fantastic if we could pick an era that we'd like to go to and of course safely return when we're ready to..None of this "beam me up scotty stuff" I would love to go back to the gas light era of the old south -like Charleston and be wealthy and live in one of those beautiful old homes.....Oh well...I can dream can't I?
@Portis1Luv we will never be able to travel back into time only forward, and if we do go back into time, every single action we do is going to erase our present as we know it.
Fortunatly these spots of Paris did not change that much, except for the palace of Trocadero (in front of the Eiffel Tower) ... but today the cars are not so pretty and the faces are not so smiling... Many politics want to change the look of Paris, they are dreaming about the new London or Dubaï, it's a shame, Paris deserves to be saved from crazyness of corrupted building compagnies and architects.

Ce montage vidéo reportage de Paris à cette époque des années 1930 est extraordinaire.
Comment a-t-il été réalisé, et félicitations pour ce court métrage, qui nous ramène dans cette ambiance de 75 ans en arrière !!
