Think what you will about Renetto but I believe he has his finger on the pulse at YouTube. I told him he should take up this cause for the community since it reduces the ability to find what people like by about 90%. Renetto replied to me saying that "YouTube will be fixing it soon". That was earlier today, I don't see why Renetto would lie, so lets hope he's right.

We need the category view back youtube. Who cares what videos you want to feature? Let the people decide what is popular or most discussed by category. Why would you remove a feature that made youtube what it is today?!

The categories have been showing...when Representative's first vid about categories came out, I clicked the page and saw categories but when i refreshed it, it was gone....yeah...they're screwing with us.

It's been showing up? really? This is good news. I haven't seen it happen yet myself, but I haven't been looking very often. Kind of discouraged by the whole thing and focusing on subscribing to everything I find remotely interesting so that I don't miss everything because categories being gone.
