he said to try and hit the outside pitch up the middle...wrong! you go with the pitch, line it down right field line, if you don't they will cast out and not hit correctly.

max66bhs, this isnt baseball, this is girls softball. Softball hitting is a lot different than baseball. What he is showing is correct.

From where she is standing, in relation to the plate she has her hands pointing at 3rd base just to get the bat head to the ball. That seems a little odd. How about this, you stand far enough back from home plate so you can get full extension on every pitch. Then you won't have to worry about inside or outside. Furthermore, the longer you see a pitch the better chance you have of making a good hitting decision. She is a mile out in front with her hands and that is time she is wasting.
