  • i saw them at trees in dallas texas. they cought the stage on fire and i was smashed against the stage. good time;)

  • i love the NIXONS..................!

  • i seen them long ago (in the 90s) at edgefest...what a show. of coarse i was trippin on acid! the bass players arms seemed to reach the floor. i also saw them at the bomb factory in deep ellem. back when ellum was still ellum,,,the played an elton john song for an encore.

  • You all should check out Jesse Davis' (guitarist for The Nixons) new band, In Union. Link to the official page on our Youtube profile...

  • i cant belive i just found this song! never heard it till my bf playd it and now i fn looove it!

  • It's Ricky Brooks on the recording and in the video. This video was made before Ricky Wolking joined the band. Ricky Wolking is in the Baton Rouge video though.

  • The recorded song contains Ricky Brooks on bass, but that's Ricky Wolking in the video.

  • @mylescharles no its not

  • @mylescharles Thats brooks in the video.

  • I miss the nixons a very underrated band.

  • ¡Todos pueden irse derechito al infierno!

  • I'm happy to be able to say that my dad and Zac were friends since grade school.

  • This was the unofficial theme song of my radio show back in the 90's! Great memories.

  • omg I have been looking for this song for so long to the point I was starting to think I made it up. . . and then I realized it is NOT in fact called make it rain. lol

  • edgefest 95 in dallas...remember it well...we bumrushed the stage, about 5000 of us..security jammed us up..pile of humans, couldnt move, getting crushed, got pulled outand grabbed the girl under me,saved her life we were both frying and it was one of those bonds between us,sooo strong...complete strangers..nixons thrashed across that stage.zac was in rare form. what a show...veruca salt rocked that show as well...the good days!!1

  • Hoho nice!

It's 1995 and while I'm still in MIT.

So many good stuff that year..and The Nixons sure rocks!

Thanks for uploading this video, in fact I believe it was never aired in Malaysia.

  • excellent band. I miss 90's music

  • Man, I miss this fucking record. I'm buying it right now.

  • HA! The Nixons sound NOTHING like Pearl Jam!

  • Very underrated band. Yes, there is a similarity to Pearl Jam on the on most of there vocals (not in this song) that borders on copoyright infringement. But their subject matter and attitude was completely different. I can only think of one other band, King's X, that with religious and spiritual issues that is not either extremely antagonistic or extremely dogmatic.

  • good good good memories of 1995 / 1996! ;(

  • OMG, I been looking for this song for like 7 years. I got to get it now. Thanks for finding it..

  • Same here. I loved this song as a kid.

  • Copy of "Never Said?"... not very similar. If you want to hear a near exact copy of a song listen to Killing Joke's "Eighties" then listen to Nirvana's "Come as You Are."

  • WOW!

The beginning of this song is a direct rip off of Liz Phair's "Never Said." It's so direct that it's shameless!

  • Liz Phair sucks, it's highly doubtful anyone would purposefully copy her "music."

  • This song is great.

  • ur an idiot. u have no idea what the 90's are about.

  • put up some of that great music you make..

  • Great Song!!! Great Video!!! Love It!!! Memories!!!

  • I don't know how these guy's didn't make it big time their cd "FOMA" freaking great stuff hope their still making music. Yeah man good memories of 90's music!!

  • I worke with john at reblobster in okc before he hit it big, he used to come to my house and jam with me, great drummer.......

  • good thing about the band is that there post-grunge and from the state im in

  • Nixons were greatness

Zac is still making wonderful music. Check out his two solo CDs

  • As to where these guys are now

    John Humphrey is In Seether

Zac Maloy now writes and produces for Sony--his song "Used To' is on Daughtry's album

Ricky Wolking is still in Dallas as a major "hired gun" bassist.

The rest, I have no clue

  • Jessie is traveling the country on motorcycle.

    They're so awesome.

Jessie and my mom used to be best friends. She went everywhere with them! ^.^

  • That is so cool. I'd love to hear more.

  • interesting*

  • JOHN HUMPHREY! Hes cool, "The Nixons" were interested but he now plays with Seether. =).

  • thank you sooo much!!!! I really miss this song... love it! waxing nostalgic as we speak...

  • I absolutely love the Nixons but this video was just pointless. Like most early 90's videos...no meaning/concept behind it.

  • ahhhh i love this song ! i got kicked in the head by the lead singer at a concert!!!!!

  • Where are these guys-I miss 90's music

  • love the nixons..what happened to them .anyone got a good version of sister?

  • yeah if you have the sister vid then please upload. high school all over again!

  • I didn't even know a video existed for this song. Thanks for tossing it out there. Reminds me of high school... when someone stole my Nixon's CD.

  • Great song and Great Band...but it woll always be about and for AMY!!!

  • While your at it...post the video for "Head"!That video was slamtastic!!!!

  • Could you PLEASE upload the video for "Sister"?? Haven't seen it for years.......thanks!

  • Thank you!!!This video is the shit!!!!

Keep any and all nixons swag coming...I'll be here with open arms!!!!

  • awesome!!... plz upload all nixons material you can

  • Gosh...thanks a million for putting this one up. It's a very rare video which I never seen before. As a huge fan of Matt Mahurin (the director of this clip) it's a true gem!
