  • Time to refill the gas tank...

  • Comment removed

  • @Tundraboy05

High performance versions of the Barracuda were called Cuda'

  • @robkamstra I know.

  • @robkamstra They were called 'Cuda not Cuda'. single quote is used for slang terms when a part of a word is skipped. like nothin' or what's or 'Stang

  • @Tundraboy05

High performance versions of the Barracuda were called Cuda'

  • @robkamstra it was 'cuda and that one has Barracuda scripts though

  • @Tundraboy05 Tard.

  • @anthraxmikeydoolin Pretty sure 'Tard' isn't a word, Retard.

  • @Tundraboy05 I never claimed it was a word...

  • @anthraxmikeydoolin Who said you did? You don't have to claim anything, it's still not a word.

  • @Tundraboy05 Stupid

  • @musefan117 Your comment was pointless, which makes you stupid.

  • @Tundraboy05 pretty sure you are a retard.

  • @iReflexzZo Pretty sure you replied to a seven-month-old comment.

Maybe you should call yourself a retard.

  • @Tundraboy05 is that why you had to remove it? if it's a comment from this year then i'll make a comment. if it's more than a year old i won't. and i do call myself a retard but i'm not. so big deal.

  • @iReflexzZo Then what was the point of replying to it?

  • Yes, It was a COLLDDD canadian winter day. Thanks for the compliment. My son loves riding in the car. We will do a burnout video this summer.

  • @robkamstra nice sound.........what dynomax is that?

  • Mmmm. That is the sexiest Grunt my young 13 year old ears have ever heard. One question though, was that like a cold start or do u have open heads or what. the smoke got me stumped

  • fuck i want one

  • you should get a 'cuda badge for it to mathc the plates, but that badge is actually pretty nice

  • what kind of dynomax muffler does it have?

    sounds great!

  • sweeeet

  • That thing got a HEMI !!! LOL

  • Love the way those tips rock when he revs it. :D

  • 70' was still the one and only year for the `Cuda!

  • @Rotzloeffi 71 was a better looking cuda, performance wise 70s on top

  • some exhausts are noisy pieces of shit. some are badass. this is badass

  • beatifull

  • thats itt thats all u got for that

  • shut up its musical

  • If your engine is stock, don't bother. High compression, big cam, open headers--sweet!

  • man where did u find a cuda body at?

    those things are RAAAREE

  • Need this answered...

Is it bad on your engine if you drive with open headers?

  • Not really bad and many engines make more power with open exhaust ,

  • @robkamstra

no. engines will not make more power with open headers. engines require backpressure to function at their maximum power. the only type of engine where you can have an open exhaust is a turbo car, whatever comes after the turbo acts as a restriction and will slow down the turbo.

  • @shaysadlays Where did you get your facts from my friend. Truth is running open headers will make more power. The TQ band can be adjusted with longer header extinctions. That is why drag cars run without them, and or just a bit longer pipes. Unless there is a track rule saying they must have mufflers most race cars will not run mufflers. Street & Strip cars are a another thing altogether. Do hope this info helps. Best, yl

  • It should be fine with open headers, just don't remove the headers or the engine won't have enough back pressure, which would result in loss of horsepower and possible glazing of the exhaust valves/seats.

  • No, but it is illegal. At least in most states it is. With open headers there are no restrictions. Plus, it sounds better too :0

  • u might float a valve due to no back pressure. but that is a very slim possiabilty. plus it sounds bad ass.

  • float a valve due to no back pressure, WTF???

  • With a big V8 or anything that is turbo/supercharged you don't really have to worry about backpressure. Unless you try running the engine without headers, that's not good. But as far as exhaust piping and all that goes, bigger is pretty much always better.

  • it's not so much "bad" for it, you just won't get as much horsepower because there won't be the back pressure needed to get the HP you want. but it won't damage any of your engine components.

  • ok thanks :)

  • @Mr73cuda Hell no its not bad what do you think the do at the drags if any thing it helps because it gets all the exahust fumes out... but its illegall to drive with open headers like in town and stuff

  • @Mr73cuda no not bad. on most engines youll see more horsepower but less torque. you might get pulled over for a noise violation lol

  • @Mr73cuda actually it could be bad for your cyl heads bc open headers allows pressure in the combustion area to be released early and can cause the cyl rings to burn. A muffler is not just there to reduce noise but to provide pressure so the proper air & fuel are mixed within the combustion area, if u know what am talking about. It is true it makes more power bc there's no pressure

  • My very 1st car at 16yrs old was a 1970 Plymouth Barracuda just like this one. . . man I miss that car.

  • dude if you still had it you would be rich lol

  • ...que guapo

  • Por acaso esse Cuda é movido a lenha pra sair tanta fumaça do escape?

  • i am trying to make my 1989 chrysler lebaron sound like this is it possable please reply

  • hahahah

  • always loved the roll pan exhaust cutouts

  • which dynomax muffler is that

  • One of the sexiest asses in the carworld, she is a true beuty might :)

  • oh yeah ! :P

  • She is Vitamin C Orange

  • @robkamstra Best colour for a muscle car...

  • What color is she? Obvious a high impact color but which one..

  • sounds pretty good

  • Sounds good...let's see the whole car.

  • OK, I will put a better video together when the weather gets better

  • @robkamstra Not in Ottawa are you?

  • nice but too short!!! :-/

  • Too short.

  • my favorite thing to say....MOPAR OR NO CAR!

  • so if i stick with my .030 over and get a crank from eagle it'll be a 416. however, do you know what it'd be with a stock crank? or i could make a 416 and lower the compression with some head gaskets. or heads. so you started with a 360 then right? what kind of induction do you have? sorry bout all the questions - pat

  • A 340 with a 4 inch stroker crank 30 over will be a 416. The crank journals are smaller for a 318 or a 340 so they use the same crank. The bore size of the 340 is larger than the 360. It will be a beast.

Eagle makes one, Mopar performance also makes one

  • hey, car sounds amazing. go mopar. however, im building a 408 myself, (i hope it sounds exatly like that lol) did you start with a 360 or a 340. i have a 340 bored thiry over but i can only find eagle stroker kits for 360's to a 408. do you know if you can use a 340 to make it into a 408?

  • i am jealous i wish i had that kind of money

  • Sounds sick dude! When you going to paint that tail panel. She looks naked man!!!! Awesome car!

    LOL!

  • lol i was thinkin valve guides, but theres no way in hell you would put a junk motor in a cuda that nice, its a new engine, needs to break in, but hell when mopars break in, hold on for dear life lol, even my 400 gave me a surprise

  • thats global warming in the process

  • You really captured the big wide overhand with that camera angle.

  • *overhang sorry

  • lovin it yea

  • love that sound =D

  • ahh, nothing like a V8...xD

  • Brand new edelbrock heads. It was a Cold winter day,

  • Leaky Valve Guides?

  • dynomax

  • SICK!!!
