My corgi Lola does that when she wants to play. If someone comes in the house to visit and Lola wants to play, "OUWWWUHH."She'll wag her butt and make that noice till the guest plays with her. It's so funny. :D
@melfunction5--yes, they shed a LOT!! it's vital to have an undercoat brush...you're looking at 2 major coat blow outs a year, plus normal everyday shedding.
@jacksonbaseball22 hmmm... I'm pretty sure Pooka could. We didn't have any stairs but I think she went up at my grandma's. She was scared too and we had to coax her with a toy/treat. It was probably harder going down!
@jacksonbaseball22 Yep sometimes they are a bit scared of them at first but it's all in their head, encourage them and give them practice on stairs when they're young so they get used to it, I don't know how it happens but some owners say that their dogs wont use stairs and they want to be carried up and down and that's how the myth that corgis can't do stairs got started, look up the video "butterball downstairs" that shows a young corgi pup learning to use stairs for the first time.
@jacksonbaseball22 It's not really good for corgis to climb or jump on stuff. They have very short legs and a really long back and it increases their risk of a slipped disk in their back. But if you've ever met a Corgi there's no stopping them. My puppy could run up the stairs by 9 weeks and come down them about a week later (not very gracefully though) I don't let her jump off anything taller than a step because especially with her soft puppy bones it could cause serious damage later in life.
@jacksonbaseball22 It was hard for my Gizzy to learn at first. I had to coax her with treats. Going up was the easy part, going down, I either had to have her on a leash or stand on the steps down from her because she would try to go down 2, 3, or even 4 stairs at a time.
LOL So cute! My basset/beagle used to do that, too. I feel bad for them but yeah, they get used to it and then go crazy when you say "Go for a ride?" LOL
She looks like my Winnie. My pups are 11 wks now and getting so big!

@jacksonbaseball22 i think they can't cause they've got short legs, and they can have a back trauma.. that's what i've heard with Dachsund...

Why does she have those marks under her eyes?
mrericman22 1 year ago
@mrericman22 I guess her eyes were weepy, probably from allergies. She grew out of it and never has weepy eyes anymore
