I Recently visited BALi.I was stuned when the people of bali told my kings name..None other than RAJA RAJA.....When europiuans were still in stone age we crossed the sea till present day INDONESIA before 1100 years & conqured them...Yet we are still a developin country...Thanks to british imperialism....When we raise again we will fuck alll europins who plundered us & a day will come when INDIA will raise once again to its ancient heights...When that happens.....!!!!!!!!!

What westerners never understood about India is its concept of 1000s of gods. We are nature worshipers. We worshipped all those things which kept the fire of life inside us alive. Good to see a documentary on South Indian temples. But it gives the subject a superficial treatment and mixes up a few things. It mixes up many rulers from various times. Also, I don't think Khajuraho has anything to do with Chola or any other South Indian king for that matter. Unlike Khajuraho, Konark, etc., erotic sculptures are not really common in South Indian temples. I'm not trying to defend or anything, just to trying to correct facts presented in this documentary.

This is one piece of a nice documentary. A great work. But like all the creations it is having many flaws.

The Chola dynasity didn't end with Raja Raja I, His son Rajendra I was mighter than him and he conquered many parts of northern India and many South east asian countries with the might of his Navy. He, Rajendra I ruled during the same time when Mohmed Gazhini was looting northern Indian temples. May be he is the reason for Gazhini not entering southern India.

The Narator [Michael Bell] of this documentary should go and read the history of the Cholas. Rajaraja Chola I holds the distinction of being one of the six Indian Kings who never lost out on the battlefield to the enemies. His great warrior son Rajendra Chola is also one among that exclusive league. Theres nothing to do with Kajuraho and the Cholas. The Cholas at the peak had control of South India, Mahipala, SE Asia till Malay Archipelago. North Indians lost their empires to Muslim rulers.....

Yes Chola Empire was the greatest hindu empire in india, eve islams are not able to achieve victory in tamil nadu, but chola empire came to end by pandya empire who built madurai meenakshi amman temple, vijayanagaram would be saved if that king would create allias with pandya, it was too late

The document is good and recommendable. As conveyed by the video the statue present in the temple was indecent.There lies the difference between the western culture and Indian culture. The sculpture shows the clarity of sex life and how it should be handled. Kama sutra the book of sex life if from India still stands good by explaining the secrets of sex life and the procedures to handle for a pleasure life. I hope the above clarifies about the Indian view over the statue in Khajuraho.
