it wont help me decide whether I should leave my boyfriend behind for a year or miss out on a big opportunity. Meditation helps me to relax and calmly think through the situation. In the end, I feel I have an answer that I am confident in. That said, if I ONLY meditate & dont read the Bible, I do feel that something is missing in my life & feel slightly empty. Thats why I think both are good.
(part 1) I disagree. I'm a Christian & I feel that meditation is still very helpful. It's not just relaxation and detaching your self from things, it helps me calm myself so I can think clearly about things and solve problems- so actually I'm facing them rather than avoiding them. If I'm faced with a decision, for example whether I should study abroad or not, I trust that whatever happens, its in the Lord's hands, but
