no a ak... can barely hit a target up to 200m... u would have to make the first shot cuz the rest makes the barrel bounce... thats why we use the m16 series.. m4s and ar-15 =]
That's one of the reasons. Another reason is they are lighter and fire a smaller round, Meaning one man can carry more ammo. Plus even on semi-auto the AK is a lot less accurate than an AR-15 model rifle. I was shooting 300+m in basic with ease, And great grouping. In Afghanistan, I fired an AK, And had worse grouping at 100m.

I would Love to see you try and hit the broad side of a barn at 400+M with an AK. The title of assault rifle doesn't mean it can shoot at 600+m accurately. All it means it that is uses an Intermediate sized round, And is capable of at least two modes of fire. That is the actual definition of Assault Rifle.

hollow point does not pierce that good, it destroys itself when it touces something. in war, u probably need a bullet that pierces walls and other stuff.
Hollow points have a cavity that when the bullet hits something, the bullet mushrooms, making a bigger hole in whatever you're shooting. Unfortunately, this also slows the bullet down more, so if it goes through a wall or body armor, it has a smaller chance of actually penetrating the target.
if your fighting a person in a gun battle if you have hollow points they're designed to open like a flower and cause alot more damage in a body than a non hollowpoint in short the hollowpoint causes more organ damage
Bigger isn't always better. The AK does pack a punch (the bullet is practically a flying hich-speed brick), but the AK itself isn't accurate for shit.
Dude, the AK-47 more than accurate enough. It's an assault rifle designed for ranges no further than 300 meters.
It has an accuracy of roughly 4 MOA. At its maximum effective range, it'll hit anywhere within a 12 inch circle, roughly the width of an average human torso.
Considering most conflicts with it take place at 200 and under, it'll hit whatever you want it to without trouble.
Note that the rest of the AK family is a hell of a lot more accurate and have longer range too.
Obviously you've never fired one. There is no such thing as 'not accurate at all'.
If I point it at your chest and fire, the bullet will hit where I'm aiming. Sure it'll shift an inch to the side at longer ranges, then two inches, then four, and so on, but the AK-47 has an effective range of only 300 meters. At that range it'll hit whatever you're aiming at, and I can say this from my own experience.
It doesn't jam, it's more than accurate enough, and has heavy firepower. It's not shit.

An AK-47 will not penetrate light armor. "Light armor" means armor that can withstand the power of small arms fire.
A propane tank that is about an 8th of an inch thick doesn't classify as "light armor".

Actual guns....sound nothing like that princess. Unless perhaps the camera was quite far from the source of fire. Either way a gun doesn't go clicka clicka clicka.....It's likely a result of the mic on the camera.

Learn a bit of grammar before even attempting to converse with me. However I should have been more clear to avoid little boy trolls when I used the word "actual" gun. I should have unsuppressed. no a ak... can barely hit a target up to 200m... u would have to make the first shot cuz the rest makes the barrel bounce... thats why we use the m16 series.. m4s and ar-15 =]

That's one of the reasons. Another reason is they are lighter and fire a smaller round, Meaning one man can carry more ammo. Plus even on semi-auto the AK is a lot less accurate than an AR-15 model rifle. I was shooting 300+m in basic with ease, And great grouping. In Afghanistan, I fired an AK, And had worse grouping at 100m.

I would Love to see you try and hit the broad side of a barn at 400+M with an AK. The title of assault rifle doesn't mean it can shoot at 600+m accurately. All it means it that is uses an Intermediate sized round, And is capable of at least two modes of fire. That is the actual definition of Assault Rifle.

Realize that the camera and the shooter are 75 yards away. This footage was filmed using a 5.0 MP Digital Camera.
Audio distortion occurs because of the distance from the rifle to the camera. In my other videos, the camera is within 10 feet of the shooter.

Hollow points have a cavity that when the bullet hits something, the bullet mushrooms, making a bigger hole in whatever you're shooting. Unfortunately, this also slows the bullet down more, so if it goes through a wall or body armor, it has a smaller chance of actually penetrating the target.

if your fighting a person in a gun battle if you have hollow points they're designed to open like a flower and cause alot more damage in a body than a non hollowpoint in short the hollowpoint causes more organ damage

Bigger isn't always better. The AK does pack a punch (the bullet is practically a flying hich-speed brick), but the AK itself isn't accurate for shit.

Dude, the AK-47 more than accurate enough. It's an assault rifle designed for ranges no further than 300 meters.
It has an accuracy of roughly 4 MOA. At its maximum effective range, it'll hit anywhere within a 12 inch circle, roughly the width of an average human torso.
Considering most conflicts with it take place at 200 and under, it'll hit whatever you want it to without trouble.
Note that the rest of the AK family is a hell of a lot more accurate and have longer range too.

Obviously you've never fired one. There is no such thing as 'not accurate at all'.
If I point it at your chest and fire, the bullet will hit where I'm aiming. Sure it'll shift an inch to the side at longer ranges, then two inches, then four, and so on, but the AK-47 has an effective range of only 300 meters. At that range it'll hit whatever you're aiming at, and I can say this from my own experience.
It doesn't jam, it's more than accurate enough, and has heavy firepower. It's not shit.

look man, i have seen people use them, and i have used one , also ive seen plenty of videos of people using them, and ill tell you the primary reason theyre shit, its because the fucking barrel wobbles when its being fired. no bs dude look it up. it flexses like a piece of plastic when its being fired, not exactly a prerequisite for being an accurate rifle.
