okay...nirvana did start grunge, the offspring wernt even grunge man...they are punk revival...they brought the punk scene back...what kurt and nirvana did was make it eaiser because they got ppl in to grunge which was close to how the 90s punk would be...the offspring are lirycly punk...hardcore, and i know this for a fact yes, i know both noodles and dexter...they signed my friend jacks band TSOL, the offspring brought punk back to the mainstream...with rancid social d and bad religion.

Kurt would not even be doing Nirvana today if he were still alive, let alone music at that much. His suicide note stated he was getting tired of all the attention and didnt feel the excitement anymore. That`s all just a question of "Right time and place" - it was the time for something different, and Nirvana was different. But they didn`t sop anything, pop is still on air, mayne more than in the 90`s. Also there is RnB, HipHop and all the other crap, but grunge is just a small part in music history and over today. Punk is still alive, also rock, or not?

first of all The Offspring ROCKS!!, but something in this song sounds familiar, in the middle of the song with the bass solo and everything, i think they got it from Nirvana of the song "Stay Away", and its pretty clear, and i think they could've come up with something original like they always do, and thats what i did not like of this new song :(
