  • ehhh my way is better. my neighbor always parks in the street where your not allowed to park at when it snows. there is a snow ban when 2 inches of snow occurs. so our street rarely gets the proper cleaning most the snow goes in my driveway well. what i did was i got on my 4wheeler with the plow and plowed all the snow in my driveway to his parking spot. lets say he couldnt park there anymore :)

  • i'd say justice was served, revenge is sweet

  • dolt/dōlt/

    Noun:

    A stupid person.

    Synonyms:

    fool - blockhead - dunce - simpleton - booby - loggerhead

  • I would of had to add water, lots of water!

  • dude well done!! i would have done much worse to her but then im an asshole ^_^ I SALUTE YOU GOOD SIR!!! :D

  • Comment removed

  • She stole it stupid fucking idiots!! I bet you guys are same kind of assholes who are stealing peoples stuff!!

  • what a little crybaby bitch...grow the fuck up...calling it a crime and shit...u got the paranoid person camera, use it to see where she put the shovel..pathetic

  • She did not "steal" the shovel. She just didn't return it after using it.

  • The car wasnt buried enough...

  • Pretty dick move. She only borrowed the shovel, she didn't steal it.

  • Would have been funnier if after the car was cleared a snow-plow came through and re-covered it.

  • i think it was a good form of justice.. altho i prolly would have burried it more so she couldnt barely see it at all

  • What she did wasn't right, that's sure.

But self-justice really stinks, whatever you say. So american, but also so stupid and low leveled... And why on earth are there 2 surveillance cameras turned on the pavement???

  • You people who say what he did is wrong, are assholes!! She stole his shovel in his doorstep and never give it back!!! I think what he did is very AWESOME!!! I would do the same thing if some stupid fucking bitch would stole my shovel!!

  • They're both a-holes, end of story.

  • Mate! I love you haha

  • You who bash dwelles underestimate the power of the shovel and his video surveillance!!!!!! -jschwind

  • You who bash dwelles underestimate the power of the shovel and his video surveillance!!!!!! -jschwind

  • How on earth did you get the video? :)

  • Ewww.... What a penny soul this guy!

  • You're way nicer than me. I'll leave it at that.

  • Why throw it away?! ditching the evidence?! I'm sure he would have been only kinda ticked if he randomly walked out at midnight and saw her returning with his shovel with an explanation of "hey, didn't want to wake you"

  • You actually did a good thing at the same time, now people can walk down the side

    walk easier..LOLl

  • @prizefighter05 Plus whoever's calling what he did "vandalism", what do those morons call her letting her dog piss in his yard?

  • The argument is "eminent domain." The fact is that the thief had more of a "right" to the stolen shovel than the owner did. As you can plainly see, the owner's stoop, stairs and sidewalk have already been cleared of snow. In fact, the owner didn't even need a shovel because he possessed a motorized snow displacement machine (snow-blower). Ergo, the owner is at fault here. If you don't like my reasoning maybe you should not have voted for Obama...

  • @cityguy111 You're a moron. What's his property is HIS PROPERTY, let alone the fact that he might need an extra hand later on during the winter or if his snow-blower does not work, he can use the shovel. Your argument makes about as much sense as saying I can steal your bicycle because you have a car, now.

  • @cityguy111 asking for and borrowing the shovel is one thing but she stole it, the shovel owner was totally in the right to do what he did, nobody got hurt. you are the one that sounds like an obama voter.

  • such an ass, I think there are a lot more people you have to take a revenge on. Go get them!

  • 0:26 - The dog says: "FREEDOOOOOOM, FREEDOOOOOM,FREEEEDOOOOOM!!!"

  • totally justified!

  • justified :) thumgbs up

  • Awesome dude. Snow etiquette is a big deal. I buried my neighbour back in a couple days ago after she told me I had no right to the spot I just spent 2 hours shoveling myself out of and parked in it. It was immature, but it felt great :D

  • How is commenting that BOTH were wrong sticking up for the thief? I certaintly don't think what she did was excuseable, but neither is what he did to her. and that weak excuse you didn't know who she was- well check out her license plate- duh. if it wasn't worth getting the cops involved about your precious "favorite snow shovel" it wasn't worth it to do something wrong as well

  • Let me state just the facts.

    1. This woman pushes open a gate and enters a yard that is not hers.

    2. Walks across a yard and up a flight of stairs to take a shovel that is not hers.

    3. Walks directly to her car where she uses the stolen shovel for her own benefit.

    4. Then keeps, discards or hides the the stolen shovel, preventing the shovel-owner from retrieving it.

And all she gets is a snow covered car? And there are morons who think SHE was dealt with unjustly?

  • um...yea, very unjustly.....fuck dude

  • What a bitch!!! I would have done the same thing.

  • lmao are people actually sticking up for the thief here? your all a bunch of jokers! she deserved it for not asking to borrow the shovel then bringing it back once finished with it

  • Grow up. Or at least grow some cojones and go and knock on her door and confront her. Request that she replace the shovel. Tell her you have video evidence.

If you didn't do any of these things before you flew off the handle I have no respect for you.

  • She deserved it for stealing his favorite snow shovel. >:)

  • LMAO! like my mom always say, "don't get mad, get even!"

  • jm442005 cops sure would respond to a theif, period.. you people are clueless and in denial.. last time i checked, stealing is stealing.. has nothing to do with how valuable something is.. and IF someone kept stealing (say a shovel) from you, you sure would call cops.. you people are hateful revengeful jerks, period... like this guy is..

  • @RAIDERS7009 Yeah, and you're a retard.

  • Sympathy for a thief? Not here. I think it would have been perfect if he could have gotten the snow shovel back while she was 1/3 of the way through shoveling out.

  • If he doesn't have a snow shovel why can't you lend him yours? Especially since you also have a frakking snowblower. Don't be so greedy man!

  • yeah im sure she is in a gang. Her and that little dog were headed out to go do a drive by when she stole his shovel.

  • oh right raider like the cops are even going to respond to a call about a stolen shovel. They wouldnt do anything. "Uh yeah I am calling to report a stolen snow shovel. ... " right. They have more important things to do. The snow shovel isnt worth much at all. But it has more value to its owner in the middle of a winter snow storm. That doesnt mean the cops will care. oh yeah you know i forgot there are special snow shovel laws in chicago and they treat theft as a felony. NOT .

  • t/ 132 people that disliked this r probably people who would steal things off of their neighbors porches & not return them . If u live in a place like this u need 2 buy ur own shovel. Ur neighbors dont leave things on their porches for u 2 take when ever u please. Stupid troll, out @ 1 in t/ morning stealing from her neighbors. I wouldnt doubt it if she steals other stuff 2. NEthing else missing? She knows u have a camera now though so i don't think she will steal from u again.

  • @Raiders. Lighten up there pal. You are in the minority. But I respect your insults towards me.

  • bscar..umm you don't what cops would do, every state and area is different,.. but that's not the issue here,, stealing is a crime, so when you see a crime being committed you call the cops, period.. you don't take the law into your own hands.. this guy is lucky she wasn't in a gang or something, she would've retaliated back, and he wouldn't be on the news for what he did, he'd be fighting for his life in a hospital bed.. revenge is not justice..period

  • @RAIDERS7009 - wtf lol where the hell do you live frieken harlem? Get real man seriously...

  • Comment removed

  • ..anyone who supports this lil kid, is a jerk too.. revenge is not justice.. and what comes around goes around.. this guy is a bully, nothing more..

  • ..this guy is a jerk, period.. revenge is not justice..

  • you should make a copy of the video to dvd and put it under her windshield wiper.

  • Ice Ice Baby

  • Wasn't this on AOTS?

  • Your my hero.

  • P.S. Can my fellow Canadian's please stop making dumb ass comments here...please? Grow up.

  • Are we enjoying this as much as you are? You are friggin' brilliant!! Thanks for doing this. Just watching the clock tick as she 'brooms' is hilarious, but the whole thing is a work of art. Thank you so much for this and kudos to your friend for the YouTube idea.

  • Many Kudos To You, When People Speak Of Justice, This Is How I Envision It, I Guess The Quote, " Revenge Is A Dish Best Served Cold "Fits.....

And To Those Who Are Trying To Bring You Down, It Was HER Actions That Were Criminal.....

  • Wow all these idiots claiming that what he did is wrong. SHE WENT ONTO HIS DOORSTEP and STOLE his shovel, then THREW IT AWAY. All he did was pull a prank on her for justice. He didn't call the cops or break her car window. He just made her work in the cold for 40 minutes. Big deal. What else could he do? just let it be? If he called the cops they wouldn't have done shit. Take it as it is, a funny form of justice. you smug ass losers won't rest until all the fun in the world is gone.

  • @whoisit604

I agree, cops wouldn't have done anything really.

Someone said that he should have thrown some water on it too. That's all well and good, but remember, he's being video taped and there's a fine line between prank and vandalism.

Though it does suck the guy doesn't know where she lives, he could blown some snow in front of her door too. :P

  • @donniecr -- Yes, One was my friend and one was my neighbor

  • Did you know the person that came up and started talking to you?

  • what is wrong with this comment stuff, or i am doing something wrong. cuz my comments are never posted.

    I will try again.

IF she had returned that shovel, (altho it was still not right to take it) I could have overlooked it. BUT since she did not, she got what was coming to her!!

  • wow this is hilarious! People below analyze shit way too much! Just look and have a laugh! Thats the way he decided to deal with it oh well, she shouldnt have stolen his shovel! serves her darn right! and Its not even like she borrowed it and returned it! Thanks for the laugh buddy.....Ps. I wish someone would do this kind of justice to those people who let their darn dogs shit and piss in children's playparks at night!

  • Ahhaha now that's funny she had the nerve to steel his shovel he had nerve to do that kharma baby!

  • What a Shame for both, thats what ppl shouldnt do!!! if the woman stole the shovel, there's a dif way to get it back not going to her low level, is this IRAK, ISRAEL OR WHAT? eye for eye?????

  • @martkd777 I think you mean IRAQ and not IRAK.

  • @martkd777 Wow, way to stereotype nations, you asshole.

  • @iniche thats the law and costumes there, u do somehting you pay for that, rather than forgiving.... and sorry if you thought i was stereotyping people.... but its true there and around the world, look at the video where it is.... and thats the worst way to solve a conflict!!!!!

  • BRILLIANT!

  • icing on the cake would be someone stealin her car that night after she cleaned the snow lol

  • AWESOME!!!!!

  • I barely saw this on the news right after the snow storm, but this was my first time watching this on youtube, and this seriously made my day. Sometimes I wish I could get revenge on people like this, but I definitely don't have the guts to do that.. so I am definitely living vicariously through you when I watch this. haha. This was brilliant! Karma is a b****!!

  • I cant believe how many people are bashing this guy for what he did. It is THE PERFECT punishment to her crime. He did not steal or vandalize any of her possessions. It is poetic justice that this women had to "dig" her car out with a broom in the early AM after she STOLE USED AND THREW AWAY this mans shovel.

  • @aradmegaman234 Did you not see the video? She clearly walks from my front step to the car she was shoveling. Pretty easy to tell which car was hers

  • How did you know that car belonged to the person who stole the shovel?

  • @Aaradmegaman234

cause normaly you stole a shovel and dig out somebody else car....yeah that how we do stuff o.O

  • @1kleineMax1 Couldn't the owner of that car dug it out with their own shovel?

  • This is one of the funniest video's I've seen on here in a long time, fair play to you mate for getting your revenge!

  • Somehow I'm reminded of the clueless idiots that don't understand the chairs/crates in the curbs and remove them so they can park there.

  • I love it! I bet you wouldn't have even cared if they put your shovel back when the idiot was done! Good for you!!! Just marvelous!!

  • @whalerguy one of three states I have never been too. Would love to visit Maine on day

  • I have a new respect for Chicago. You would fit right in here in Maine.

  • Good job! She deserves it!!!

  • I've had my snow shovel taken, used and left in side of road before. I was mad they didn't put it back. But if you were able to figure out what car she drives to snow blow it in then you should of been able to figure out where she lives. Basicly you teaching your child its ok to get revenge on people instead of dealing with people in an adult manner. One wrong does not justify another. Sad world we live in.

  • @RANDY64612 wtf are you talking about kids for. He could have put his fist through her window but he didn't. Instead he did the community a service by clearing the sidewalk AND giving the THEIF/TRESPASSER a chance to hone her shovelling skills since she has a new shovel. Are you ok? you need to get your head checked.

  • @Navigator416 Are you ok? I think you need to have your head checked. Randy64612 has an excellent point and you attacking her mental facilities shows yours may be lacking.

  • I hope the camera equipment company

passes a few pennies to you as they

should be ggetting some new orders to

prevent something like this from happening.

By the way, it was a little risky as if the blower

picked up a pebble, it could have broken the glass.

  • Like Chris Rock said - now I'm not saying that what he did was RIGHT. But I UNDERSTAND.

  • My point is I hate thieves, she got away lucky. They may not need snow shovels, but you can bett your ass that no one steals your stuff. They lose hands.

  • Remember folks, Don't Feed the Trolls!

  • Gw next time build a snowman on top of it lol

  • This is awesome... Dwelles, completely justified haha

  • saw your vid on the news i was like no way really took it, ha ha karma nice vid man

  • 127 people steal snow shovels,

2000 people blow snow at them.

  • I'm leaving you a simple "props". People that steal petty things are so disrespectful, they deserve much worse than what you gave her, but atleast what you gave her won't cause any long term issues. You can bet if I ever caught the people that stole my bike, my car stereos (several times), my electronics (house was broken into once), I'd of done much MUCH worse than what you did. something we can enjoy and laugh at without there being too much damage. So go you for being the bigger man!

  • serves her right

  • Everyone chastising him for what he did to her car has lost sight of the basic human decency we should all expect from one another. What he did was simple karmic justice. All he cost her was time, when she cost him personal property.

  • @presterjohn71 If I had something that worked better then what you had taken I would not miss it at all...

  • @fivetimejeez so if you buy a brand new tv i'm just gonna take any other ones you have, okay?

  • Let's see you have a snow blower, and your worried about some stupid shovel? Pathetic.

  • @fivetimejeez So does that mean you are OK with us stealing your stuff?

  • That shovel meant that much to you, huh?? Wow.

  • @unicqueky It's the principal. What's wrong with you? Don't you care about your own property being stolen?

  • @unicqueky

Hand over all of your shovels to me if they don't mean much to you.

  • @tainterlakeisgreen

Lol. I don't own one. ;) I hire people like you do my dirty work! :) LMBO

  • Maybe you shouldn't leave the shovel out on the front porch!

  • @nocamo1 opportunistic marketing through the use of incorrect motives is wrong. What you are saying is that the end justifies the means. If that were the case, then why don't you go out and commit a crime, get put into jail, and cry like a baby for the injustice done to you, and then go and write a book about it, making a lot of money.

  • She deserved it, I would have done the same...;-)

  • @unlistedoo7 you are an idiot also!

  • @dmeachy Whatever dude, in the end she was inconsiderate and dishonest on her own...

  • Awesome

  • I can't believe this story made its way into the WSJ but that's still awesome. What would have made this story very tragic (and ever so slightly funny?) is if she had been hit by oncoming traffic or mugged as she cleared off the snow...lolz

  • LOL!!!!! You rock!! Good job!!

  • Nice lol that was awesome

  • My sympathy for this gal flies out the window when she FAILS TO BRING THE SHOVEL BACK! Gah!

  • Justice is served :D

  • What people don't seem to understand is that I have no idea of who the woman is nor where she lives. People think I should have confronted her and asked for the shovel back. If I knew where she lived I would have

  • @dwelles so, like a little juvenile delinquent, you decide to dust her car with your snow blower! What a great lesson you are teaching your daughter.

  • @dmeachy What would you have done? Go buy another shovel? Succumb to a petty thief? What he did was damn brilliant, nobody got hurt and she suffered a consequence which was still too tame in my opinion. People (like you) have no balls these days I swear. I'd teach my kids the same thing, I have no respect for petty thieves and they should get what's coming to them.

  • @dmeachy You would have succumbed to the thief and bought another shovel wouldn't you? Grow a pair seriously. This is justice in a mild mannered form and karma at it's finest. I have no respect for petty thieves who have equal disrespect towards people's property.

  • dwelles. We understand that she did wrong & we admire how you did a "Pay back" without getting into trouble with the law (you didn't cut her tires, etc.). It's 1 thing to borrow & it's another thing to steal. & she stole! ! & what's she going to do w/ this stolen shovel in mid-July @ 90 degrees? That's what's wrong with people these days; it's all about them! She could have cared less about your inconvenience. What were you suppose to do it you had to drive somewhere & got stuck?I say Great Job!

  • 125 People often steal shovels in Chicago...

  • oh man josh can't believe someone stole your shovel!

  • I don't see why there is such an outrage over this guy. The woman stole something out of convenience for herself, as a consequence she had to suffer an inconvenience in digger her car out. Unless the car was damaged I actually see the two as being pretty even.

  • 5 degree is -15 C

    Thumb this up

  • @catadeluxxe no

  • When I first saw this I thought it was quite clever. But now I think it just as immature and irresponsible as when she took your shovel. It shows how truly gutless you really are. You should have simply confronted her and been done with it. What if she had an emergency and would have needed her vehicle? I hope the police see this video. Revenge is never an appropriate act. Thumbs down all the way.

  • HAHAHAHA my hubby says he would have asked the neighbors if he could clean thier yards and blow the snow onto her car encasing it in a mountain, then call in a steam truck and incase the car in ice. Then when the lady went to her car to dig it out I said I'd get the snow blower out again and clean the rest of the block directly onto her, and then when she starts griping say well I have to use the blower someone stole my shovel. LMAO!

  • Epic

  • SWEET REVENGE. I DONT CARE WHAT ANYONE SAYS THATS HILARIOUS!!!!!

  • @ann. Why?

  • @dwelles you're asking ann why she said "she is bad but u r worst" I can't believe you're asking why to that. i hope you read my origional comment i posted a few days ago, maybe that will help you understand

  • she is bad but u r worst.

  • dwelles-how did you get your hands on these security camera recordings?

  • i don't know. it seems to me 2 wrongs don't make a right. i understand being upset about getting your stuff stolen, but seriously, i think this was a slight overreaction. just saying.

  • @kb3tlr I couldn't agree more. All I see is a bunch of adults behaving immaturely. We teach children in school not to take revenge on each other or they get in just as much trouble as the original offender. There are very few people these days who still believe in decency despite the misbehavior of others. Getting revenge is encouraged and celebrated. It disturbs me greatly.

  • FamiliaMami

Well, what was the owner of the shovel suppose to do, then? People need to be taught not to steal. And I'm seeing this as an excellent teaching lesson. Peace. Snow her/him in.

  • @esquireyes See my reply to TheC40 below.

  • FamiliaMami. See my comment to dwelles, above b/c you really appear to be totally clueless. Peace.

  • @esquireyes I'm not going to argue about this. Those of you who are trying to act like this is the way modern society should behave will never be able think like mature people unless you make the choice to. There's a difference between trying to change the cycle of stupid behavior and being clueless. If sinking to her level of behavior is right, then I'd rather be wrong.

  • FamiliaMami. You're clueless. Peace.

  • @FamiliaMami Well what do you want... If he called the cops, it would be worse for her than that...

  • @TheC40 I thought that's what he had a 'justice' system for. There's also this little thing called forgiveness (a highly underrated response). Perhaps going up to her and letting her know he knows what she did and if it happens again there will be consequences. I like a quote from Ghandi: "An eye for an eye makes the whole world blind." People are so blinded by anger these days. They get so offended over small things. Sometimes unfair things happen and it's ok to just let it go and move on.

  • @FamiliaMami Well society decided of the laws.. She knows she cant steal people yet she did it. Thinking of the consequences I think it was better for her. At the same time, no one got hurt and he did not break anything.

  • @FamiliaMami Right because you support people committing crimes and that they're the victims instead of the people who have had property stolen from them. I guess you don't believe in jail time, you rather counsel instead? Get real revenge is the best thing that can be done in some cases.

  • @7477238 Yep. You know me so well. Whatever you people who support this behavior have to say to make yourselves feel better about it. Whatever. Rational thinking is clearly not welcome here.

  • Bravo sir, Bravo..well done

The woman should thank her luckey stars she lives in the U.S\

    In Saudi Arabia? Forget it.

    (2) prominent quotes come to mind

    1. Karma is a bitch .

    2. Revenge is a dish best served cold.

  • @Monti0329 ya but it doesnt snow in saudi arabia

  • @Monti0329 They don't need snow shovels in Saudi Arabia.

  • [1] He takes 32mins to cover her car with snow - & not only hers - other innocent bystander's cars.

[2] She takes 24mins to clean it off - and don't mention how cold it is - she obviously walks her dog at that time of morning and is used to it.

[3] No one here knows how he got the snow shovel. Maybe her shovel had been stolen and the dog sniffed it out on his front step. Just maybe she is the innocent party here. Obviously this guy didn't care about the other cars he sprayed either.

  • serves her right! she got what she deserved.

    revenge is sweet!

  • LOL this is freaking halarious!!! i would have done the same thing probably...

  • So epic! This made my day.

  • Obviously the dog is trained to hunt great quality shovels...

  • It would have been many times funnier if a snow removal vehicle would come and bury the car even more.

  • <
