@methodsofdance000 Wow, I wish I had the original video used to make this. Unfortunately I only save the final edit of the video. I could try to duplicate the set up I had, but this was made two years ago. My memory is not all that good. I listened to the recording over and over until I had the sounds and basic melodies. I used a Hughes SRS AK-100 to dig out the parts of interest. There really is not a shortcut to playing this song.Besides, that is half the fun...
@jacqueline97128 I find Simon's voice to be soothing, especially on the Arcadia's So Red the Rose but I wanted an instrumental version of The Chauffeur for myself. This was the only option. The fun was in getting the right balance of sounds and an arrangement I liked from the studio and live versions to get a personal alternate mix. The challenge was staying true to the original but keeping it interesting without the vocals. I have heard there are programs on the web to rip YouTube audio. ; )
Yes, I unplug the power line conditioner which feeds everything. I have seen what a nearby lightning strike can do to electronics even if houses away.
That was awesome! You did a great job sequencing and playing that. I was trying to figure out though.. was the sequencer on the VFX used at all? Or was all the sequencing coming from the TS12?
The TS 12 was used for sequencing only because of the sounds used and my current MIDI setup is chained in this way. The VFX SD and TS 12's sequencers are nearly identical. Thank you for the accolades.
Excellent choice of song and brilliantly played.! It's wierd, this was my favourite track from Rio, always had that quirkyness to it and stood out from the album which was so perfectly engineered. 5*****
I agree 100%. I have every studio version / remix of all their songs. I stay away from all the live and bootleg stuff though. I have always fancied myself an Audiophile. LOL. Thanks Michael.
Great Job !!!!!!

Sounds like you heard every little sound hidden inside the song!! Great.

@edgarxico Indeed. I cheat though, I remove the vocals (center channel) to hear the stuff buried in the mix. ; )
