  • Great Job !!!!!!

  • Good job

  • Could you make a tutorial of this? i'd love to learn how to play it!!! i love it!!!!!

  • @methodsofdance000 Wow, I wish I had the original video used to make this. Unfortunately I only save the final edit of the video. I could try to duplicate the set up I had, but this was made two years ago. My memory is not all that good. I listened to the recording over and over until I had the sounds and basic melodies. I used a Hughes SRS AK-100 to dig out the parts of interest. There really is not a shortcut to playing this song.Besides, that is half the fun...

  • Sounds like you heard every little sound hidden inside the song!! Great.

  • @edgarxico Indeed. I cheat though, I remove the vocals (center channel) to hear the stuff buried in the mix. ; )

  • Please Will .. put together "Hold Back the Rain" for us ... holy arpegiators!!! good luck bro... as i sit here with my old Juno 106...

  • @bmorant1902 The question is which version... 7'', 12'' remix, 12'' Kershenbaum mix (with gong effect), Choices, choices....

  • Outstanding!!!

  • @bmorant1902 I hope to do more soon. I'm thinking Hold Back the Rain. One of the remixes though...

  • Wow..... o.O I love it

  • @MeZakiyah Thank you.

  • You did keep it interesting. This is a song I never get tired of listening to. Great job!!!

  • @pelicle74 You did a great job yourself.

  • I thought this might be corny but now I want to download it on my ipod and listen to it.

  • @jacqueline97128 I find Simon's voice to be soothing, especially on the Arcadia's So Red the Rose but I wanted an instrumental version of The Chauffeur for myself. This was the only option. The fun was in getting the right balance of sounds and an arrangement I liked from the studio and live versions to get a personal alternate mix. The challenge was staying true to the original but keeping it interesting without the vocals. I have heard there are programs on the web to rip YouTube audio. ; )

  • Great job! Haven't head that since 85!!! Thinkin on getting my youngest a D20 to learn and expand on later.

  • SUPER!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @jasiuchmiel Thank you.

  • his is my fave song EVER - u did it justice! Fantastic and such skill!

  • Thank you, I wanted to spend a bit more time polishing it up. I also wanted to keep it fun. In all I love the way it came together.

  • this is awesomee!!!

  • ; )

  • Brilliant!!!....very well done!!!...Thank you!

  • Duran Duran music is always fun to play.

  • MAGNIFICENT.... THANKS FOR SHARING.

  • No problem, wish I could do more. Thunderstorms every other day. : (

  • what do you mean? you have to unplug your equipment when it storms?

  • Yes, I unplug the power line conditioner which feeds everything. I have seen what a nearby lightning strike can do to electronics even if houses away.

  • Very good cover, thanks for sharing : )

  • Thanks. Planning a few more if the weather would just cooperate.

  • That was awesome! You did a great job sequencing and playing that. I was trying to figure out though.. was the sequencer on the VFX used at all? Or was all the sequencing coming from the TS12?

  • The TS 12 was used for sequencing only because of the sounds used and my current MIDI setup is chained in this way. The VFX SD and TS 12's sequencers are nearly identical. Thank you for the accolades.

  • Excellent choice of song and brilliantly played.! It's wierd, this was my favourite track from Rio, always had that quirkyness to it and stood out from the album which was so perfectly engineered. 5*****

  • " perfectly engineered. "

I agree 100%. I have every studio version / remix of all their songs. I stay away from all the live and bootleg stuff though. I have always fancied myself an Audiophile. LOL. Thanks Michael.

  • I thoroughly enjoyed this version Will.

    Amazing play and programming.

I'll definitely be coming back more often to this during this summer. 't Put a smile on my face. :-)

    Well done Will!

  • Thanks, It's one of those songs that you just want play over and over. Let's see what the Summer brings...
