Thanks for the great tutorial. I have a question though. As I tried to do this, I noticed the watermark I had created was showing up as different sizes in the images (I think because the images are different sizes). Is there a way to keep it relatively the same size in each image?
how can one that has already made a work of art but meant to start it as a action do to make all the steps you went through to make it all be recorded
I want an english learning book for the summer and my teacher gave me the teachers book (with the answers on it with red) but i should buy the student's book (without the answers) so what i did??
I scanned all the pages (about 250) and i used your method to automatically remove the red (with select>color range and select>modify>border) to all the pages and then i print them again!! you are so awsoome!! I could never have done that without your help!
One thing I don't like is that photoshop will recognize the size of the photos and what not when cropped, and itll place the watermark in the place it believes it's centered. If you have all the same size photos and no crop at all then your set, thanks for the video, really helped out!
This is an awesome tutorial !!! I thought I was going to have to go out and buy the Photoshop for Dummies book, but instead I found your channel of tutorials here. Thank you so much!
how did you make the "S" logo on top of the channle? i made a background for my channle, but the name wouldnt fit and it got behind the channle itself (check it out if you dont understand)
I am glad they made adding watermarks super easy in Lightroom. This was a great tutorial for those who don't currently have LR. I always enjoy your posts.
@CDVProductionsFilms@CDVProductionsFilms Andrew Kramer, He doesn't do short ones like this, they are a lot longer. However he goes on an does complex and advanced stuff. You can find him at videocopilote . com
I especially recommend the "Disintegration" tutorial
Is there anything like "invisible watermark" no text/logo watermark.... watermark will be inside the file, which will block download of our image... for example, he clicks on your photo to 'save on hard drive' .... but it will be saved as a blank file, not my image.... I think I saw it on flickr when I tried to save something... thanks for reply
it that the droplet feature or the batch feature... this is how it works... you create a file with photoshop and when you wanted to do the same thing on other photos you just drag and drop onto the file and photoshop does its work... can you do this tutorial please. 10x for this :)
I learned the batch technique several years ago... and OMG has it saved me frustration! I tend to resize all my images from my camera or whatnot to easily share them/upload them to internet and it's amazing!
Excellent for editing image sizes to be posted on craigslist or if you are for whatever reason showing something off.
@ZenoxDemin Actually, no. CS5's "Content-Aware Fill" only works with small details—it looks horrible if the logo is big. So, it only works with tiny logos. But even for that, Content-Aware sort of sucks—hopefully it will be better in CS6!
For simple watermarks i simply type my text in a new square documents & define it as brush presets.. I can resize it & place anywhere i want in my photo real quick. cool tutorial though. thanks. i'll try it.
I do not like these watermarks either just because it stands out. It would be better if you can incorporate it as part of the environment. Put it into the wall or the floor in the image would be better
@Ashanmaril You're actually very right. I don't try to steal pictures anyway BUT when I want a sweet background I just quickly cut the watermark with content aware fill..
@x3mhook 99.99 percent of people won't pay a dime. I upload photos to flickr under creative commons because you can't fight piracy, may as well try to work with it. People keep stealing my videos from youtube but I am registered with Content ID now.
You are a great Tutor - you explain it all so well.

@poolboyinla Sure, it might be annoying, but if you're trying to stop people from stealing your work, it's necessary sometimes.
IceflowStudios 1 year ago 140
@IceflowStudios I know but for a lot of people, it ruins the photo. And when it is in the corner, watermarks are easy to crop out.
poolboyinla 1 year ago

Psycatalyst 1 year ago
@IceflowStudios Not quite,
If someone was hellbent on stealing your work, its as simple as using the clone brush tool.
So I kinda agree with the first guy,
The only reason a watermark is useful is to take some credit for your work,
But if your making art,
chances are, you want it to be seen.
basslinet 1 year ago
