  • Nice!!!

  • why does the program close when i put encode active files? please just answer this one question please

  • @ItsRobertCuh I honestly don't know. I'm sorry. It could be anything from a GPU problem to conflicting software. I've never had the issue nor am I a developer of the application. You might have to contact the developers of SUPER and ask. Sorry.

  • Thats also wat she said lol OMG

  • Hey mate just wondering WHY the quality of this video looks rubbish on 360p where part 1 it looks great on 360p? what did you change.

I found a video earlier today that also puzzels me. 360p almost looks as good as 1080p. Check it out for yourself bellow

    youtube (dot) com/watch?v=_mmP_9UQtlw

  • @JETP1L0T I can definitely tell that the video you linked me to is 360p, but perhaps it's at a higher bitrate. I'm not sure why part 1 looks worse than part 2, I'm thinking YouTube has changed the quality of *new* 360p uploads, as I had to upload part 1 again, months later.

  • thx

  • I do this but it still has huge black bars on the side, please help!

  • thats also what she said LMFAO awesome video man this will help out a lot

  • Haha, thanks :D

  • That was priceless man

  • This is the best so far seen Super HD tutorial video on YouTube. Good quality in voice too so its easy to follow, not mumbling or anything.

I wish this just were in new HD standards 1080i/1080p ;)

  • Thanks :)

I'm planning to redo these tutorials in around six or earlier, depending on a few things.

  • lmao "thats also what she said"... she asked u to open it up? o.0 I think you ment to say "thats what I told her last night"...

  • Oh yeah.. whoops. ROFL!

  • lol xD

  • thanks a lot !

  • That's alright :)

  • im gettin errors :(

  • @bbabybry check out my latest video for a very easy way to remove black bars on videos that are already uploaded! No programs or downloads required!

  • Thank you very much :D

    cheers

  • No problem :)

  • wow i get error

  • Thanks, I've been using Super and been encoding files just to have a different file type, and had no idea on what settings did what, and I consider myself a Computer Technician lol Thanks again :)

  • Haha, no problem :)

  • You saved me again! I'd lost my settings somehow.

  • Might have happened when you upgraded to the latest version, if you did.

  • can i use Adobe Media Encoder insted of SUPER C video hd encoder that you use there? please reply thanks ^^

  • I don't see why not, try it out.

  • i get an error while trying to encode. can you help?

  • man i have a 800 mpeg video, it seems to convert forever... is the output file more thant 2 gb? weird

  • Thanks Chris - I learnt more in the last 7 mins than I have in months of googling this topic. Very clear and concise.

  • That's awesome :) - thanks.

  • I like adobe too

  • if i wanted regular or high quality why would i even watch this video in the first damn place

  • eh?

  • what do you mean at 0:13??? that's also what she said... I don't get it :/

  • haha ive never seen a tutorial were the person makes fun of what he says. nice

  • Lol. I tend to insult myself because it makes other laugh :P

  • man i almost missed a 'that's what she said' joke.

    listen in around 0:11

  • "man I almost missed"

    That's what... he... said?

  • Handbrake is another program you can use to encode. It's free, open source, and a decent program.

  • I've heard of handbreak, once I get my mac I'll check it out.

  • Yeah, I get that - it says that Win Vista doesn't conform, dunno why.

  • It never worked but it made my video quality higher. By the way im downloading Ulead (Corel) VideoStudio

  • Darn, good luck with Ulead.

  • man i dunno if you can help me....

i record videos from Camtsia 6 and the output is wmv....every time i put it in this programm SUPER and do like you did here it tells me that an ERROR has occurred. what is the problem??? i have a good Computer and my pc is full with programms and i dont miss anything ! what is the problem can you help me?

  • Contact TechSmith, I don't offer support for programs - I can't, I didn't make them :P

  • After recording a video, a window will popup. Click 'Edit', then set it to HD. Then edit it... upload it... tadaaaaa! HD videos the EASY way.

  • No problem :)

  • I NO LONGER OFFER SUPPORT:

I have NOT disabled comments because occasionally one commenter may help another.

I CANNOT offer support for this tutorial any more due to time constraints.

Thanks so much for the support towards this video so far.

Thanks for understanding, feel free to comment, just don't expect a reply from me.

  • Oh my , thats great tutorial i'm going to make this !!

  • Thanks, good luck :)

  • i watched it on HD and full screen... I must say I'm impressed xD

I encoded a video and managed to get "watch in HD" but still the quality it's not that awesome, and it's because the raw video file wasn't that awesome-quality :P

on screen capture i DID managed to get a great quality

  • Yes, I've discovered that for faster moving images you need a bitrate of 3,000 or higher.

  • Thank you so much it worked

  • No problem :)

  • That's also what she said.

  • : O

  • okay, whenever I went to Encode it...It's just keeps encoding how long does it usually take?

  • It depends on the length of the video and your GPU mainly.

It can take a while, try leaving it over night.

  • Thank you, yet another helpful tutorial found to lower my files sizes, FAVED!

  • thanks :D

  • Heey,

When i render my quicktime is around 1.25 GB , Is this possible to set it on youtube because it took really long i canceled after like 30 minutes. And how can i make it smaller? Thx in the advance!

  • How long does your video go for?

Try doing what was shown in the tutorial, it should be less than 200mb, roughly.

  • I think with avi and then mpeg-4 it works too... i did it once ;D

  • Yep, it does :P

  • Your computer is super loud :P

  • It's not really that loud, it's just that the manufacturer put the microphones in a spot that picks up all the noise of the computer.

  • how long did it take u to upload this video?

  • Well, on my connection, it took around 40-50 minutes, but the time changes depending how many people are on youtube and your internet connection as well.

  • You obviously didn't read my comment.

Don't really know what you are trying to prove, but whatever.

  • Funny, because when I actually recorded this video, WMV did not work you idiot.

Secondly, feel free to use WMV if you want a file size of a few hundred mb.

WMV isn't bad for SD and lower, but HD it REALLY struggles.

  • super ©

  • What if i encode before i tell it where to save file can i do it after its encoded?

  • Are you using CS4?

  • Which software you use to record your computer screen in HD?

  • On this particular video, TechSmith Camtasia Studio. Though there are free options too - google "CamStudio"

  • it says your first video is private. make it public please, i need to see it.

  • I'll add you as a friend, after you accept, I can make it public for just you.

I am re-uploading part 1 soon, due to music copyrights.

  • ok, thanks

  • friggn hell when i use hd videos my computer usage is 100%

  • Yeah, video rendering can be very processor intensive, just imagine what you would need running a TV station.

  • oh thanks man youre ok!

    i subscribed ;)

  • cool, thanks :D

  • as i buyed my computer there was adobe premiere elements 3.0 just now i updated it butdon't know how to use it =( i watched some tutorials but they couldn't help me too...

  • I do have a tutorial coming in February about Premiere Elements 3.

    Look out for that.

Unfortunately I can't upload the tutorial sooner as I have limits on my internet.

  • ok... but i don't need a so "profiessional" programm...

i have a 16:9 hd cam i just want to put some text during the video (you can watch my videos then u see what i mean) without resizing the video to 4:3 =(

  • Sure. So Premiere Elements should work :)

I'll get the tutorial uploaded as soon as I can :)

  • hey thanks you teached me a lot^^

good quality, good speech (i could understand you and im german/chinese :D)

hey i wanna ask you with wich programm i can edit the video after converting the video?(NOT movie maker, i doesn't support 16:9 videos =(

  • Thanks :D

Watch the next part of the video.

I suggest a program called Premiere Pro. It costs a bit, but download the trial from adobe [dot] com

  • Can you check for me please how many MB/GB SUPER takes up?

  • The actual program should only take up around 33MB

  • It wasnt what i searched for but i want to know how to make example tutorials that you are filming something you do on computer without dooing it on webcam? Help please :)

  • To record your screen you will need some software such as "Camtasia Studo", "Snagit" or "CamStudio"

Camstudio is free from CamStuio [dot] org

If you are on a mac, look at the applications called "Screen Flow" and "iShowYou"

    Good luck :)

  • Can You make public your video about How to make HD video for youtube with ulead please?

  • I will - I have to reupload it soon, without copyrighted music.

The second you reply to this comment - I'll put it on public for 2 minutes, please go to the video straight after posting.

I don't want to get hit with a copyright notice.

  • No problem :)

  • i keep getting an error with super, i used all the settings you put, help!

  • I can't help with errors in the program, I suggest contacting eRightSoft - the creators of the program, they may be able to help.

    Sorry

  • hmmm...

I'm trying to convert/upload a DVD i recorded onto youtube and I used the settings you said to use, but I still dont get the HD link at the bottom of my videos. (I dont even get the "watch in high quality" link either)

I have a 3 megapixel mini-DVD camera (not really sure if that matters), but that should be good enough to at least get high quality videos, right?

  • oh..and

How can I see the bitrate, resolution, and fps of my videos?

is there some kinda program for that?

  • To find the bitrate etc, you MAY be able to find that if you right the video and click properties.

If you can't find anything in the "details" tab.

Download a program such as VLC (Video Lan)

Play back the file in that. As it is playing, click on the "Tools" menu, then media information (this may be in a different place on older versions, but it should still be named Media Information or A/V Information)

Then simply click on the "Codec Details" tab.

    Hope this helps :)

  • How long did you wait for the link to appear, sometimes it can take a few hours.

  • ooh, it takes time...

    hahaha...i should be more patient

    thanks

  • Haha. So it's working now? :P

  • lol

I removed the videos right before I commented since I thought they didnt work...so I'm just gonna re-upload and check back tomorrow

  • btw, i learned how to download HD from your tutorial, that's how i came here...

  • Glad to hear that :D

  • where can i download this converter please tell me

  • Link is in the description.

  • I made some tests and yes, the maximum bitrate for VBR goes even up to 3500kbps, i swear it... I downloaded my uploaded videos and that's what they showed...

  • Wow, nice! Thanks for that, I'll keep that in mind for my new videos :)

  • and also i think it streams 2000kbps for the video, so people (in case the original input file is more than 2000kbps) should use 2000kbps instead of 1700...

  • I'm not sure at what bitrate youtube caps it, but I have found most HD videos to be around 1500 - 2200kbps VBR, but yes, they should probably use 2000kbps if their input is that.

  • I think HD supports 224kb audio

  • I'm 99% sure it goes all the way up to 256kbps.

  • Hey Thanks for the video.

But I have a problem, the video encode and dont stop it at all.. :S..

    What could be the problem?

  • Thanks..I fix it out.

This is one of the best video to get HD Quality

  • Awesome, glad you got it working :)

  • haahaahaha thats also what she said =) lolol
