I didn't like seeing the horse killed, as I believe horses are for riding and companionship and should never be killed except to end suffering, but that horse was killed perfectly. It did not suffer, and was not even under any emotional distress. All was well with it, until suddenly it found itself walking over the rainbow bridge without a clue of how it got there. I wish that every animal that is to be slaughtered should be slaughtered in such a quick and humane manner.
@johnsoncm65 Horse meat and fat are used in many other parts of the world. It is actually very tasty. Some say the best French Fries in the world come from being fried in horse fat. I understand the American hesitation but in the end...it is all just meat. Just like you and I are to the Lions.
@ElectroOverlord Horses were not bred with meat being their primary purpose, Cattle have been. Cows have been food all along, while horses have been bred, almost like dogs, to be excellent working and companion animals. You will find very few Americans who will eat dogs and most Americans will not eat horses, either., They're a lot more fun to ride and train and just have as a companion. A good horse can be a reliable friend for many years but you can only eat it once.
If Morrissey wants people to stop eating meat, he should have someone air this on a screen over him. But he'll have recover his mind first, pay Mike his money, smooth things out with Mike, Johnny, Andy, etc.
I feel like committing these barbaric acts on any human I see now. Those of you throughout the entire Merrimack Valley in Massachusetts - you have been warned of this promise.
Me niego a ver como matan un animal, mismo que se trate de film de un gran director!
Es que no nos damos cuenta que hacer sufrir un animal es igual de horrible que hacer sufrir un ser humano que no se puede defender!

Well, the screen would be behind & high above but if you've been to a show you know what I mean.
