Do you have Duke Nukem 3D (the original version) installed? If not, it won't run, the game.con file is in the original Duke3D directory, which means you need the original version of Duke3D to run Eduke and the HRP.

I haven't tried running Doom 1 or 2, but Duke 3D can be played in XP if you download eDuke32 and install it in the same directory that Duke 3D is installed in.

You must have a very low-spec machine. I can run it fine in 640x480, and it's a laptop.

I don't know, I played Duke Nukem with this high res pack...I didn't enjoy the game better. In my opinion, I think the old sprites and textures was making the charm of the game. I don't say the high res pack is crap...but I still prefer playing old school Duke 3D.

It's cool that with the high res. pack you can play with the original 8bit or use the high res graphics

If you have windows XP, it should run easily. If it doesn't, download eDuke32, and install it to the directory that Duke3D is in, it should work.

I'm not involved! I downloaded the Duke Nukem mod, and then later on, for fun, started to tinker with it. The mod available at the link does not have '4 1/2 inches of fuck you' or 'Wookie frags alien scum' in it.
