That's Isaiah Jones Jr. He had a connection to a past Caravans member, he wrote "God Has Smiled on Me", which James Cleveland recorded in 1974. Jones is now Rev. Dr. Isaiah Jones Jr., and was pastor of a Presbyterian church in Palo Alto, CA from 1999 to May 2007 when he stepped down for health concerns.
L-R: Johneron Davis, unknown (Iris Humble?), unknown (Louise McDowell?), (PurpleSnowman29 sez he'll find out who they are) Cassietta George, Albertina Walker. James Cleveland front and center. They were all young. Albertina and Cassietta were about 25, and James about 23. The others were probably around the same age. I'm also asking another gospel guru about the mystery ladies. I may have an answer later this morning.
This is awesome. I love Dorothy Norwood when she be telling them stories. lol. I'm going to still ask my friend Tina about that them other undentified ladies in these pics. the ones that we can't identify. lol. I'm giving your first 5 stars Joey!!
