  • You guys know your just repeating the assumptions of plato and later greece right?

the abrahamic texts are very light on substantial meaning.

  • Christianity is more about relationship then religion. We know God because we form a proper relationship with our Heavenly Father who knew us before the world was new.

Atheists don't understand this love relationship or dogmatically hide behind non-belief. A love relationship with God would be anathema to anyone who rejects God.

Our default position is to both seek God and be naturally set against God.

We must chose the Master we have a relationship with.

  • Sorry, I meant to give you a thumbs up, not down.

    In Response:

Yes, truth is substantial, but, alas, Fact triumphs over this.

  • Fact/Truth coexist...one does not trump the other.

    1. the true or actual state of a matter: He tried to find out the truth.

    2. conformity with fact or reality; verity: the truth of a statement.

    3. a verified or indisputable fact, proposition, principle, or the like: mathematical truths.

    4. the state or character of being true.

    5. actuality or actual existence.

    6. an obvious or accepted fact; truism; platitude.

    continued

  • from continued

    7. honesty; integrity; truthfulness.

    8. (often initial capital letter) ideal or fundamental reality apart from and transcending perceived experience: the basic truths of life.

so you see, this is what humanity defines (as per dictionary versions) is what truth actually is. "Truth" is a concept CO-EXISTING with "fact". Often times you must prove/disprove "facts" to clarify the "truth"...many small facts go towards proving/disproving "truth".
