  • I like. Hey, who today is playing obscure Hollies tracks? I wish everyone loved this stuff as I do.

It also takes a lot of self-confidence to wipe the work of the most elegant rock drummer of the whole 1960's and replace his work with your own. Good job.

  • @SpartanOrDie Thank you! Although self-confidence, is just what I needed! Your comments will help me, do not hesitate! Bobby Elliot was really a great drummer and not easy to cover his playing without losing much of its quality! and hard to find people who like this style of music! Thanks again, and greetings!

  • Man those Rolland sets have come a long way. Yours sounds very authentic. I have a 1st generation set.....the knees are very touchy...maybe even broke.

  • @Byrds1967 Thanks David! This is the V-drums td4kx and only has 25 drum kit sounds. What do you mean about the "knees"? You mean your own knees?

  • @Greenbeatriver The Knee where you tap the skin lightly is yields a different sound than when hitting it full force. Your set has a good "acoustic" sound to it with those little diffrences. Mine sounds like I'm playing it without much touch sensitivity at all. The sounds don't have a natural blend. Often every other hit sounds like I'm hitting it hard then the next one soft....

  • @Byrds1967 Ok David, I understand you now! Yes, V-drum patches are wonderful, the touch is very similar to an acoustic drum! Was about to buy a "Alesis" but advised against me in the store. That Roland drum set model are you?
