polarized 3d only works on cinema screens. Regular televisions cannot emit the two different light waves needed for the 3d glasses you get in the theatre (i.e. the 'non red annd blue' ones)

Great 3D effects! BTW Folks the reason why your AVATAR glasses dont work would be because it is a different 3D format. That movie was projected,in most theaters, using Polaroid filters. Hence the clear like filters your glasses have. And dats on my mamma.

Probably doesn't work guys because this is red/cyan and the avatar movie glasses (and all new ones, actually) are 'true color' meaning they just use those double images, not the old-type red and cyan double images....

there are many different methods for producing a 3d effect movie, each requires it's own viewing technology. Avatar glasses won't work here, those are polarized lenses for use with a polarized image. This clip need the red-blue glasses, like the ones you used for the superbowl last year, which won't work for avatar 3d. read the publisher's info on the left.

the reason avatar glasses don't work is because red and cyan colors arent used anymore they distort the color spectrum now in imax and other places they use polarized lenses like in sunglasses so if you put on polarized sunglasses in a movie theater they will work but, not as well James cameron was not the first to use polarization thought his invention was the camera and how close together the lenses were that is why avatar doesn't cause headaches movies

Polarise sunglass doesnt work since both lenses are polarized in the same way, so they cant separate the 2 images and isolate them for each eyes. The best you can see is unblurry 2d images.

Its very cheap, got mine for 6 euro's check at your nearest hobby shop, and see if they got red and cyan materials for the use of 3d anaglyph viewing
