in Mignola's Hellboy comics monkeys cause all sorts of problems.

There was where a Nazi scientist called Von Klempt, used a talking cybernetically engineered gorilla to extract some "stuff" from a lady.

Another incident where a greedy old man is transformed into a monkey by his demon possessed witch-wife, and shoots Abe Sapien and tortures him with a brand.

And a final incident where the aforementioned Nazi scientist return with a new gorilla who use an electric harness to torture Hellboy.

I love it. Great art. Top notch voice talent. And a premise that is a mix of Wild Wild West and Hellboy. How can this not be turned into a series or a theatrical feature?

Considering how many people like this show, the people at Dark Horse and Sci-Fi may eventually make the series. I say that if they don't, it's truly a shame, and if they do, at least we have this.

This was a pilot they aired a few years ago. Unfortunately it was never picked up and probably never will be picked up. It's a shame, I would have loved this show.
