@TheRealSayokhan yes i know... but this is english. in kazakh they say türik. and the old gok-turkish word turk means "HUMAN". so gok-turk means something like "SKY PEOPLE". and i hate to say turk because if i talk with someone who dont knows something about the turk-history they think turks are people from turkey. i also write my comments for people who dont know history. with history knowers i talk about turks.

I advise you to read my post more carefully. I've meant Middle Eastern influence in term of culture, religion, etc. But the origin is Turkic obviously

I wouldn't say we have a lot in common with Middle East or Russia.
Kazakhstan is Kazakhstan, this country is quite unique in many ways (as well as many other countries).
Kazakh culture and traditions were not influenced a lot by other cultures or civilizations.
